Using the pencil is brilliant, what a great idea. I plan on bravely making my 1st junk journal. So I appreciate watching how Signitures are sewn in Tfs💕
I have really enjoyed the book making process tutorial. I love the instructions for sewing the signatures to heavy fabric and gluing it into the cover so the pamphlet stitches don't show on the spine.
This is such a lovely little journal. Thank you for showing how to put the signatures into the spine using the piece of linen. I love this stitch and I'm always looking for ways to improve upon it. I think I'll try it out on one of my tiny journals. Thank you so much for such a great tutorial!
I like the idea of sewing the signatures to a piece of fabric first rather than directly to the spine. I have to wonder if the glue would hold up tho. I think fabrifix would be my glue of choice as I dont have tacky glue. I think your spine turned out lovely! TFS!
Concise, clear and very informative. Thank you 🙏🏼
