Big Blue the game is terrible at teaching you how to play. Tells you how to use only a few predator mechanics when theres probably a dozen and it doesnt teach you how to play as fireteam it literally tells you to jump in a figure it out or read brief descriptions

The fake healing trick is actually one I didn't know of before this video,gonna have to try it out tonight. Hell of a way to play mind games with the fireteam.
Bblurre that’s because the „trick“ makes no sense. When the predator roars, that means is heal is finished which in turn means you want to actually avoid chasing him. So the only way of using it may be to actually trick the fireteam into believing you have fully healed and they can stop chasing you, when you actually are low on health
Tip: the equipment you put on the 1st Predator preset is updated in the tutorial. So if you want to play around with the range of a weapon etc, you can do it there without wait times.
Another tip with the plasma: you can aim at something next to you during the charge and then quickly snap to the fire team at the last second. This way your position isn't exposed as much, compared aiming at your target for the whole charge duration.
Yeah well that is a problem with the plasma caster since there are no fireteam counters for it, i mean ive sniped the predator in the head with the best sniper in game, 3 times seems like it does no damage, but in the movies a 50. cal sniper would blow his head off clean.

I know there are mods for Skyrim that let your character be hungry, thirsty, tired, cold etc so you have to follow all these needs to keep him/her alive....In my opinion the decrease of stamina/magicka and the maintenance of armors and weapons are enough!😁 It's a game, not real life! What will they add tomorrow, a mod that oblige you to work every game day for 8 hours?!?😒😂
Loving the game so far, just wish that there were a few more options to play stealthy when up close to the fire team that doesn’t involve waving your combistick at them, maybe like letting you do stealth kills on them if you manage to get up close behind them with the wristblades equipped? Or perform stealth kills from the trees if they walk underneath you? Also I feel the matches can be over too quickly if the fire team just bum rushes the objectives, would be nice if the hunt lasted a bit longer and was a bit more suspenseful
You can stealth kill players if you got behind them. I was surprised when i was just smashing melee button at them and suddenly i stabbed* one guy in the back and lifted him up and threw him forward. That was an instant kill and he died immediately he didnt even get downed

One tip that I'm surprised people don't know about is canceling your heal ONCE it's healed. Skip all that "roaring stuff" entirely. It all depends on how damaged you are though of course, I believe if you're like 2/5 hp or more you can do this to skip the entire roar. But any lower than that it requires you to roar to get that extra heal off. :) So ye but honestly the jump leap is nice, but.. it stun locks you and it'll end up getting you killed more often that not unless it's a 1v1 or 1v2 situation during the animation. A few predator tips that weren't mentioned that come to mind is when a player is "downed" don't always go for the quick claim. Especially if you're about to get fired at. Just hit them with 2-3 hits then back up into a spear throw if you're getting pressured :) The more damage you do to the downed person.. the faster they bleed out. Tracking and finding the fire team should be taught as well as I feel most people don't know how to position themselves between the objective and the fire team.

I want this game so bad but just imagine a Predator game with free roam while allowing us to travel from planet to planet for resources/trophies!! While allowing us to explore the yautja lore. While doing so we can rank up throughout their tribal system eventually becoming an elite Predator creating your own clan and possibly starting wars between species/the bad blood predators. We have a few species already that can probably be used from the movie “predators” plus xenomorphs, bad blood predators and humans! List can go on from there with a creative imagination. Then again it can be very limited if the wrong minds are on the development team.

ive been playing recently and have been thinking of ways to seperate and the fireteam and use the beartraps to your advantage. i then thought of a plan where if one player is running a little too slow through the jungle you down him, and put a bear trap on him, then wait for his friends. if 2-3 come to revive him you can bombard them with the plasmacaster, and if its just one you can rush in with the net gun and kill them. then claim these two and start putting pressure on the other two
yup . but the fireteam just spam SPOT 1200 times per socond in the area and they find you with the sounds and spam within 5 seconds! RIP. broken mechanic

Much more important tip not mentioned here: use marking! When using your infrared view, you are able to mark fireteam members. Not only will that show you the players info and their current worth (which is another thing not mentioned: worth of fireteam members will increase the further they are in the mission and the more you fight with them! Going the Guerilla ambush way may increase the worth of a single fireteam member so much, that he alone will give you more points than the whole team on normal matches!) but it will also mark them! Marked fireteam members stay marked even outside your infrared view. Which means you can clearly see there exakt position even behind cover. That’s gives you a major advantage and so far I haven’t seen anyone using it. Ps: predators motion sensors also mark players, which makes this device actual very useful
Since fireteam can heal you can stack up exp from dmg done, thats waymore effective and fun way to play predator rather trying to 1shot the whole team under 3mins of the match for 4k exp than go for max 16k

*#1 tip* :When you LL run out of pigs and heals, u can actually wait until they call the chopper, and when they do, self distract a sec before they come to u because they don't know that ur there and they will not have time to even escape with the chopper or run away. *Attention!! If you start self-destruction when they are next to you , you will fail cuz they will run away, so self distract a sec earlier so they will not manage to get away* I don't recommend that cuz you can easily kill them with range weapons and even without the biomask but if u wanna troll, then this idea is the best for you 😎 *#2 tip* : •if you know that ur gonna die try to self destruct really fast and don't try to kill them , choose an area with a lot of obstacles in it because, they know that you re gonna die so they will chase you, and if they don't, follow the firsts tip instructions
Thanks for the tips... running to the middle at the beginning before using isolation scan, doing chip damage with caster, and not worrying about claiming - just continually downing are strategies that have worked for me.
The title is Predator Hunting Grounds. Not Alien Isolation. Would be a cool limited time event or a separate gamemode. Dont know how I would feel about it being part of the base game

omg i did this in my second a attempt by accident , i clicked on my roar and they did thought i was healing but i wasn't, i was just using that to let them know i was anger cause they cant shooting grenade launchers at me it wasn't for baiting but they still came, but now i know now thanks to you, maybe you are right, maybe they thought i was healing and came for me and i took out two of em, now im gonna abuse this inside on in, in game thanks for this video..i didn't know at first 😂👍 Thanks for this video
One thing that really helps if your throwing your combistick alot is rebinding left on the d pad (previous weapon) to weapon slot 3. This makes it so your first weapon in your loadout is just a tap away so you can chuck your stick at someone and reliably have it a tap away after pick up
If you look in the tress in places, you get to see the hanging bodies just like from the films, skinned and everything. I loved seeing that. For me they were near the radar base, high up in the trees. I saw them and was like... I love this game.

To play this game the way it's meant to be played requires longer matches. The time says 15 mins, but generally end a lot sooner due to rushing. There needs to be a cool down between objectives. Right now Fireteam can just run from objective to objective. There needs to be a little down time between objectives. This would allow the Fireteam time run around and find veritanium, and would give the Predator time to stalk and plan the next ambush all while lengthening the match closer to the 15 min mark and slowing things down. The match time should actually be extended to 20 mins to allow for this objective cool down and slower gameplay.
I just got warlord armor and skull warpaint. The first game I go in when i start attacking i hear a dude say oh shit look at his armor RUN! That's why I play this game. Looking so cool I'm scary.
My tip... Don't rush to claim a downed enemy.. instead place a bear trap next to him and wait for the rest... then have your shot charged by the time they try to heal... Or use your net on the ones that don't get caught by the trap...
Nice man your tips actually make playing him more enjoyable cause most of the time he’s not. The in game tutorial is way too basic and should include this stuff you mentioned
I tried to surprise the fireteam with a slam last night while they were healing a downed teammate. I ended up jumping to that downed player and instead of a slam, i speared the downed guy in the chest and finished him 😂😄 nearly got me killed because the "slam" had no effect on anyone around him.
same combo as the blaster with wrist blades but with net gun also, can use net at anytime during combo, i usually sneak in net one, melee then net again when it breaks or net a nearby fireteam. helps me win majority of matches. also big tip (pause) dont use the trees so much, fireteam always run around looking up in the trees, i play stealthy crouching and jumping around roofs, ruin the fireteam with ease.
Ur 1st target isolation is a guarantee if you activate it asap. The fireteam members load in after the predator so as soon as it comes up the fireteam members dont have enough time to mud up before the predator know where they are.
Yeah a lot of times I use that thermal vision with the extra boost I usually don't see anybody because they're all covered up in mud that's why I used the perk that lets you see moody footprints
Fun thing I like to do. Let them see you. Run in, annoy them, deal some damage. Then leg it. But pause, uncloack, take a bullet or two. They waste alot of ammo firing near there and are more likley to chase that direction.
what a lot of others don't realize either, if you get a fireteam who thinks they can hide in a building to make it harder for YOU the predator, if its a small building you can constantly SMASH the top of the building forcing them to use there health packs. Eventually they come out lol

Best tip from my experience is if you are in a tight spot and getting low on health but the enemy team is low on health, make sharp turns around a corner then instantly go invisible and crouch/heal right next to an object. Weirdly enough, they almost never see you most likely because they are expecting you to run/leap away without the cloak.
You don’t have to crouch to go completely invisible. As long as you’re standing still and not moving. Crouching may help it quicker but even standing works. Also target isolation works even if they are mudded as long as they are moving around. Target isolation doesn’t work if they stop moving and are hiding. However most of the time the FT are moving or shooting so it works most of the time
Using the berserker Predator style with long range weaponry can be very effective. You could kill a whole fireteam from the trees very quickly without it implying major risks. And if you run low on health, you can just cloak and escape through the branches. I’d advice to have the combstick -for either occasional close combat or a long range throw-, with either a Bow or a Plasma Canon.
Predator isn't exactly weak u just can't be so aggressive. U just gotta play smart and use strategies. Predator was never meant to be in the center of attention

If you cloak and just stand still while not crouched you go completely invisible as well. I tested it out in private matches with friends

You have to down them 3 times maybe 4 with the perk.
The problem is people just don’t know the gameplay mechanics and the internet is full of people wishing for something that’s already in the game...

Predator dosnt roar till hes completely healed so roaring would jus make me think ur completely healed an id be more cautious.
It’s not complete. It’s roughly 2/3rds. Trust me, they will still rush you. It works 99% of the time. It’s hilarious.

Yeah, I meant for Illfonic to fix their game. Pred needs bad-ass alien-tech helmet to see heat signatures and humans just see each other through walls.. WTF?!
*#1 tip* :When you LL run out of pigs and heals, u can actually wait until they call the chopper, and when they do, self distract a sec before they come to u because they don't know that ur there and they will not have time to even escape with the chopper or run away.
*Attention!! If you start self-destruction when they are next to you , you will fail cuz they will run away, so self distract a sec earlier so they will not manage to get away*
I don't recommend that cuz you can easily kill them with range weapons and even without the biomask but if u wanna troll, then this idea is the best for you 😎
*#2 tip* : •if you know that ur gonna die try to self destruct really fast and don't try to kill them , choose an area with a lot of obstacles in it because, they know that you re gonna die so they will chase you, and if they don't, follow the firsts tip instructions

Thanks for the tips... running to the middle at the beginning before using isolation scan, doing chip damage with caster, and not worrying about claiming - just continually downing are strategies that have worked for me.
there should be a alien dlc where you can play as alien and you can use face huggers to make weaker drones and other stuff to hunt the fire team
The title is Predator Hunting Grounds. Not Alien Isolation. Would be a cool limited time event or a separate gamemode. Dont know how I would feel about it being part of the base game

As a starter player: hit run/invincibility, jump backwards and plasma caster works 8/10 times, you can caught off gurad fireteam

omg i did this in my second a attempt by accident , i clicked on my roar and they did thought i was healing but i wasn't, i was just using that to let them know i was anger cause they cant shooting grenade launchers at me it wasn't for baiting but they still came, but now i know now thanks to you, maybe you are right, maybe they thought i was healing and came for me and i took out two of em, now im gonna abuse this inside on in, in game thanks for this video..i didn't know at first 😂👍 Thanks for this video

The plasma caster tip made me a beast dude, i just dispatch fireteams faster than they can call reinforcements
One thing that really helps if your throwing your combistick alot is rebinding left on the d pad (previous weapon) to weapon slot 3. This makes it so your first weapon in your loadout is just a tap away so you can chuck your stick at someone and reliably have it a tap away after pick up

If you look in the tress in places, you get to see the hanging bodies just like from the films, skinned and everything. I loved seeing that. For me they were near the radar base, high up in the trees. I saw them and was like... I love this game.

To play this game the way it's meant to be played requires longer matches. The time says 15 mins, but generally end a lot sooner due to rushing. There needs to be a cool down between objectives. Right now Fireteam can just run from objective to objective. There needs to be a little down time between objectives. This would allow the Fireteam time run around and find veritanium, and would give the Predator time to stalk and plan the next ambush all while lengthening the match closer to the 15 min mark and slowing things down. The match time should actually be extended to 20 mins to allow for this objective cool down and slower gameplay.

Here's my 1 big practical tip. Rebind jump from X to R3. It enables you to manouver without removing your thumbs off the sticks.
Definitely use the wrist blade + plasma caster combo when you encounter a fire team that's knows how to parry.
I just got warlord armor and skull warpaint. The first game I go in when i start attacking i hear a dude say oh shit look at his armor RUN! That's why I play this game. Looking so cool I'm scary.

My tip... Don't rush to claim a downed enemy.. instead place a bear trap next to him and wait for the rest... then have your shot charged by the time they try to heal... Or use your net on the ones that don't get caught by the trap...
U dont need to crouch to go completely invisible. U can just stand there and have ur weapon out ready to go.

I tried to surprise the fireteam with a slam last night while they were healing a downed teammate. I ended up jumping to that downed player and instead of a slam, i speared the downed guy in the chest and finished him 😂😄 nearly got me killed because the "slam" had no effect on anyone around him.
same combo as the blaster with wrist blades but with net gun also, can use net at anytime during combo, i usually sneak in net one, melee then net again when it breaks or net a nearby fireteam. helps me win majority of matches. also big tip (pause) dont use the trees so much, fireteam always run around looking up in the trees, i play stealthy crouching and jumping around roofs, ruin the fireteam with ease.
Ur 1st target isolation is a guarantee if you activate it asap. The fireteam members load in after the predator so as soon as it comes up the fireteam members dont have enough time to mud up before the predator know where they are.
Yeah a lot of times I use that thermal vision with the extra boost I usually don't see anybody because they're all covered up in mud that's why I used the perk that lets you see moody footprints

Fun thing I like to do. Let them see you. Run in, annoy them, deal some damage. Then leg it. But pause, uncloack, take a bullet or two. They waste alot of ammo firing near there and are more likley to chase that direction.
Bow + Slam is a great combo. Doesn’t have to be a fully charged shot unless it’s a Support but will knock down most classes.

what a lot of others don't realize either, if you get a fireteam who thinks they can hide in a building to make it harder for YOU the predator, if its a small building you can constantly SMASH the top of the building forcing them to use there health packs. Eventually they come out lol

Best tip from my experience is if you are in a tight spot and getting low on health but the enemy team is low on health, make sharp turns around a corner then instantly go invisible and crouch/heal right next to an object. Weirdly enough, they almost never see you most likely because they are expecting you to run/leap away without the cloak.
You don’t have to crouch to go completely invisible. As long as you’re standing still and not moving. Crouching may help it quicker but even standing works. Also target isolation works even if they are mudded as long as they are moving around. Target isolation doesn’t work if they stop moving and are hiding. However most of the time the FT are moving or shooting so it works most of the time
that one with the pig is actualy godly you have no idea how many times i was looking for a pig and could not find one

Using the berserker Predator style with long range weaponry can be very effective. You could kill a whole fireteam from the trees very quickly without it implying major risks. And if you run low on health, you can just cloak and escape through the branches. I’d advice to have the combstick -for either occasional close combat or a long range throw-, with either a Bow or a Plasma Canon.
Shoot plasma caster jump , leap over them , repeat
Use camo to get full effect on them
Works best on faster characters

You can use the explosive barrels to your advantage if you time it just right you can down one or more fire tema members at once for quick kills.

are you playing on ps4 controller??? if so why does your taunt wheel work so well? on my remote its extremely hard to get the cursor to go to the two taunts on the bottom left and right corner.
