Honestly, the 'imperfect' animation really adds to everything. Those crackly movements, the spine, everything is terrifying and unsettling and fits Christopher's character so well. No one needs crisp animation for Crispy!
I love how his own destruction of the mirrors left the shards scattered enough for the final spotlight to finish the job His obsession with his reflection and compulsive destruction was what revealed who he really was

Dude, you have nothing to be ashamed of. This is actually kinda crazy. I'm just so shocked that, even though it gets choppy sometimes, you still stuck to full body animation and never switched to more of a pmv type thing for the whole song! Thats stuiped impressive! You even made sure to add and animate the wrinkles and made sure to shade with stippling, like dude! This is really impressive for someone's first animation!
I love this in a lot of ways: it slowly reveals that he isn’t the victim but the villain. This animation slowly plays into him becoming the villain without the kind of unique framing of the original. The words alone will make you think he’s innocent until the very end, but the mirrors show the truth.

He’s much more charismatic, and the mirrors seem to genuinely shatter themselves purely to injure him, to burn away pieces of his flesh, increasingly becoming hostile. But you see the smirk, the fact that he actually swings first on some of the mirrors. He uses the mirrors originally to depict YOU as the monster projecting onto him. You feel sympathy. But the reveal is slow, and eventually you see that maybe something does not line up with what you’ve been told.

This is amazing. The accuracy in the character design is incredibly impressive, the motion is crisp and for lack of a better word, clean. The character always looks SO GOOD and especially the fully ‘corrupted’ version of the distortionist, the fully corrupted version looks .

its nice to see how you improved in those 10 months some of the shots are actaully very well drawn and suprised me in quality. Ill just intepret the diffrence in quality in a way that the distortionists lies differ in quality and makes him sometimes look good to the viewer because he convinced us that he looks that good and sometimes we see trough the mask and see that he actaully not looks like what he says he looks like. Dont we love our own little headcanon? Its not a bug, its a feature!

I used to listen to Ghosts songs religiously years ago, so getting a recommendation like this really put a smile on my face. :) For a first animation.. WOW!! The animation stayed consistent all the way even with how long it is! I really like how you drew the twist on their body. The backgrounds are also really nice! All these remind me of my friend I used to have, we both really liked Ghost and their songs. If I remember correctly Candle Queen was her favorite song. Love it, I can tell you put a lot of effort into it. I especially liked the part near the end where Mr Pierre grows 4 extra arms, that was done really well. I did notice something with the animation, though, and I hope you don't mind me pointing it out. Christopher's movements feel stiff. He doesn't move with his arms, like at 1:25 when he throws them up while keeping the rest of his body still, then winds up for a punch without rotating his shoulders or torso. Even considering that, though, this animation is great, especially for a first. You're going places for sure.

Love it, I can tell you put a lot of effort into it. I especially liked the part near the end where Mr Pierre grows 4 extra arms, that was done really well. I did notice something with the animation, though, and I hope you don't mind me pointing it out.
Christopher's movements feel stiff. He doesn't move with his arms, like at 1:25 when he throws them up while keeping the rest of his body still, then winds up for a punch without rotating his shoulders or torso.
Even considering that, though, this animation is great, especially for a first. You're going places for sure.
