Yes. That's how I did it also. Just remove the 3 bolts. I had to watch the video. because I couldn't remember how I did it before. It's been a long time since I've had to do this. But I remember I didn't pull the air cleaner box.

Wow ... you learn something everyday ... I have always change that head light by removing the air filter box like at the end of this video; thinking inside the box ... thinking outside of the box is so much easier; removing 3 simple bolts and presto head light comes out, so much easier to work on ... Thanks :0)

Great video, made my installation super easy. The air filter however does not need to be removed. Only the three 10 metric screws and then wiggle the headlight assembly out. Again thank you.

This is good to know in case you have to remove the headlight, but I found some instructions that can be used to replace the headlight also as long as you don't loosen the screws on the clip:
Open the hood of your KIA Amanti and look behind the headlight that has gone out. Locate the round knob on the back of the headlight.
Turn the knob counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn and gently remove it from the back of the headlight. Carefully remove the electrical cable within the headlight housing that is attached to the back of the headlight bulb.
Locate the metal clip that holds the light bulb in place by pushing the clip arm straight in and sliding it down. Remove the bulb from the headlight housing.
Replace the old headlight bulb with new bulb. Secure it by sliding the metal clip up to hold the bulb in place. Reattach the electrical cable and replace the round knob to the back of the headlight housing.
Turn on the headlights to verify that they are in working order.
There is a video on youtube that shows this, but I was not able to find it again
This works for the Kia Amanti also.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY AIR FILTER WAS REMOVED. I DID HEAR SOMETHING AND CLEAN TO GET BETTER MILAGE BUT NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LIGHT.IN ALL FANTASTIC VIDEO. I LOVE PEOPLE DOING THIS VIDEOS.

If you have an 07 then save yourself sometime and just twist the old bulb out twist the new bulb in. You dont have to do all of this extra removal like I did and waiste hella time
