Just so you know, the metallic screws you're referring to are designed to be adjusted from the top. Look where the hole is in the radiator support. It's right above the screw. Take a #1 phillips and crank on the edge of that disc that looks like a gear cog. The other one has a small channel above it for the phillips screw driver blade to go through.
