Freemasonry requires belief in a god. At the entered apprentice level, It just happens they let you believe in the god u choose.

He said very clearly, they acknowledge and respect all the religions of the participating members. They have a bagharvita, bible and koran open in their meetings.
He said they have summons and read the bible on ash Wednesday but they don't invoke christ. He was clear of the popular bible books they read, mainly the first 5.
