Thanks for the video. Those commenters needing info on how to remove a carburetor may be better served by searching to breakdown their specific unit. I really appreciate that the author stayed on point and didn’t waste our time by using intelligent editing.
Worked perfectly for me THANKS!! Yes the disassembly vid is a bit quick, but there really are so few parts that once you lay hands on, it's no big deal, look at the tray of parts that is disassembled match to that and it is that simple - I took pix during disassembly to retrace my steps for the re-assembly - I used carb cleaner, instead of detergent, but other than that this vid was all I needed to get my AP5000 back up and running quickly and easily.
Honestly, i've been trying a lot of stuff, but the best at this moment is Oxy vanish action. The pink cups with the powder inside and make sure your water has 80°C :)
I'm sitting here with a muffed up generator in WNC and I wasted time and data on this. Sincerely hope your toilet paper rips every time you try to wipe.
Hi Jan I done exactly what you said it worked ✅ my generator started straight away but it won’t run without the choke on ,it dies when move the choke lever to run. Maybe strip again and poke all holes with fine wire? Thanks Tim
Hi Tim, yes that's the next step. But make sure the water has at least 85°C and use 1/2 spoon oxi vanish. Also disassemble the main jet and adjustment scews out of the body. And poking all of the holes with a wire is a good final step. Otherwise it will be a new carburetor. cheers JMOT
I just had that issue. It's the main tube. Get a thin piece of wire. I used thin solder😁🤷 took the bowl off, tilted the Genny on her side alil and found the hole on main jet and ran it back n forth a few times. Sprayed carb cleaner in all ports, and put back together. Runs first pull every time like it did. Had to pull the whole carb afterwards cause I couldn't get the bowl from leaking fuel. Then after that it worked with no leaks. Took me like 15 minutes once I knew what was going on. More aggravating than anything else really. Hope that helps.
So, we see this guy trying to start the generator many times in normal speed then, when we NEED to see how the carb comes off etc, it's sped up by a ridiculous amount, thereby preventing us from seeing what he's doing. Waste of time.
Appreciate English is not your first language Jan, but what is the point of a speeded up version with music without describing what your doing? For a non tech guy this video is useless, sorry.
Another U Tuber blaming E10 gas........Terrible video for demonstrating a carb rebuild .......great for companies selling $20 a gallon gas with Sta-bil in it
This video would have been extremely helpful if he would’ve just played it at normal speed so people could actually see what he was doing. He wouldn’t have even had to say anything, just play at normal speed 👎
Thx for the inspiring video that showed nothing in detail of cleaning a carburetor
Actually… nvm

Speed up process wasn't appreciated. Just play it at standard speed and let us watch and skip as needed. Thanks for the video!
Horrible music too😢😢😢
@@johnwahlers3363it’s even worse when running the video at 1/4 speed!
what chemical solution do you use to clean the carburetor? Is mineral spirits a good choice?
Honestly, i've been trying a lot of stuff, but the best at this moment is Oxy vanish action. The pink cups with the powder inside and make sure your water has 80°C :)
This was very clarifying. Thank you

Can you tell me what the name and model number of this generator?
I don't have it anymore I'm sorry.
What is the model of your generator?. I have the same one but no manual. Would you have a manual
?
Glad you knew what you were doing . Slow it down boss . I need my info spoon feed
El moto vibra porque está entrando un poco de aire por las juntas 😅

All you had to do was take off the air filter and spray carby cleaner in tne carburettor, then mist petrol through carby, pull ring start.
The most unhelpful video I’ve ever seen
Try recording it so I don't have to slow down the playback. Mr. Speedy Gonzales thank you
That was unhelpful.
Very bad. The video is too fast. How can a person learn?😢
Why did you think it was a good idea to go so fast???
So, we see this guy trying to start the generator many times in normal speed then, when we NEED to see how the carb comes off etc, it's sped up by a ridiculous amount, thereby preventing us from seeing what he's doing. Waste of time.
You can slow down the video
Thanks alot, this worked for me
great, glad it could help
Cheers JMOT
Could not follow you your video needs to be slower and step by step I totally couldn’t get the help I needed
For evertone saying its to fast simple slow the videos down 😂
What the heck was that? You should have blurred the important bits if you didn’t want anybody to learn anything. 😂
This is a ridiculous speed and no explanation and can not be followed at all!
Make it slow please
I guess he assumes everyone is on speed
He still needs to clean the house after that.
Laughable and a waste of everyone’s time 🤦♂️
what's the point of this video... you don't even show how to take apart the carburetor...
Hi
Thanks for nothing. A very ridiculous video that does not help in anything
Cant learn when you play fast
Useless video, I already knew I had to do this, but I was looking for a bit slower version .... LOL!

WTF kind of video is this.
