Lovely little film. The colour grade is spot on and the music compliments the story. Great work.

Meditative work...I LOVE it...I can see myself living like this and doing this kind of work...what a privilege that would be. Beautiful story...captures the family dynamic so very well. The soundtrack is perfect...what is that lovely 40's song?

+Kathleen Hershner Thanks for such a thoughtful comment Kathleen. The song at the beginning is 'Naughty Hula Eyes' by Andy Iona and His Islanders.

What a great song title - the 40s were rocking in Hawaii so perhaps that's the link. I'm going to find it right now.

The blue plaques are amazing reminders of where our every day crosses paths with giants.

It's good to see that Sue is obviously trying to pass her own remarkable skills on.
I am guessing that the young man will need the patience of a saint!
And in no way do I mean that as any kind of Dig or disrespect intended towards Sue, in fact it's a compliment when you consider how many of these she will have done over the years.

Frank adds two extra of the clay pellets for "luck", but I think it's more or less what we would call leeway.
There's not really one of us who could honestly claim to be perfect, but I think it's perhaps prudent just to add a little bit extra because you are most likely better with a little bit more than a not enough especially when dealing with something like clay that obviously dries out quite quickly.
