    Great tutorial thanks! 1:55 its not error, nor need to use any script, just select the object and "delete all type by History" then apply Effect--->Shatter. It will work fine

    How do you set the space scales...because my pieces just flies off so far no matter how high the gravity I set it to....

    Can you do it with wood house ?

    • @3DModelsWorld.
      @3DModelsWorld.  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it can do that, just make sure the house model is correct more like optimized for shattering so its not one piece etc.. hope this helps :)

    Hi, is there a way to cache this collision animation? Or maybe making set driven keys for the destruction in the channel box?

      Yes you can bake the animation :) just select all the objects and go to the menu and bake the animation, hope this helps :)

    Hi, I am using Maya 2020 and trying to learn Bullet simulation with bullet plugin. How do I move the ball in a specific direction, not purely x/y/z-axis? I mean, I wanted to have an arbitrary direction for my bullet to hit the target. Is there a way to through a ball or bullet to a targeted direction either with initial velocity or with the initial keyframe, please? In simple rigidbody dynamics, I could use on/off dynamic state, but I cannot find that type of option in Bullet plugin. Maybe initial sleeping would do.....just curious. To be more specific, is there a way that the sphere in your this tutorial will also be affected by the hit? when it is hitting on the wall. There are only two way to do that: (a) this sphere could have initial velocity but I do not want just pure single axis. I want a specific direction of the spare. (b) I could have a similar key framing on to my spare but I also want it to show the impact when it is touching the wall. Many thanks

      There is multiple ways to do that type of effect, on top of my head, you can add force to the bullet object to control its direction like wind turbulence etc.. using the Maya forces to have the bullet object go in the direction you want. might need some nParticles involved and some faking like some is animated and some is dynamics etc..might create tutorial about this in the future it require some experimentation to get the result. hope this helps :) keep experimenting thats the best way to find out what will work for your scene :)
