I have watched a few videos - none of them has explained the functions & relationship between Shutter button and AEL, AFL buttons well enough as you have done! thanks a lot for bringing us this video!!
cracking easy to follow video. i use back button focus when i am photographing birds on a feeder. i can lock focus on the feeder and then just wait for the bird to appear and press the shutter.
Well articulated, and clearly explained JC. Was able to follow along and apply these settings to one of my custom dials on the XH2 and will give it a shot.
Thank you for the very helpful video! My AE-L button only works when I have my SS dial set to "A" and aperture dial set to "A" and on auto ISO. I have an X-T30. Any idea why this is?
is it programmed to something at the moment? ael happens on the shutter button as well, or if it's assigned to a different function button. if you are not married to how your camera currently is, or if you bought it used, it's good to reset everything and the buttons and start from scratch, default settings.
thanks for stopping by. Do you want to try focusing like this? Do you use your function buttons differently?
