      Hey Colby!! Can't believe I happen to come across this comment randomly. A big part of why I could even put this nice video together is because you gave me a chance my senior season at SA. I'm thankful for that man! Hope all is well with you and the fam. Miss you man!

      Professorlive you are the most entertaining player I have watched in a long time. I don't understand why you never got an offer to play in college or the NBA. Why didn't you try out for an NBA walk on type of position. You would put people in the seats so NBA owners are just dumb. Anyways keep up all the greatness Gray!

    He started at McNary High, a 6A school for two years, and then transferred to Salem Academy, a 3A school with 300 kids, for the last two. Great kid, great family, but would never make a Division 1 team let alone the NBA. His love, passion and hard work have allowed him to have some great experiences, but don't get carried away.

    His ball handling is the best I've ever seen. His shot is even better. The dribbling is the coil of a venomous snake. The shot is the poisonous strike. A deadly combo.

    Did anyone ever say "Maybe we should look at your shooting form?" I was only 5"11 136 lbs and had proper form. Sick of hearing people say cause he was too small. Once you hit like 10 you should probably be fixing your form. You should be able to shoot with proper form and still keep your strength.

  • @stilliving
    @stilliving 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Oh, you're absolutely right. Especially on the defense aspect. I just didn't know what you were pinpointing - I was wondering whether it was the money issue or what.
    On the other hand I think the main issue is his height and size, because you might notice from many of his videos that Grayson can shoot well. And it's really his streetball type moves that are showy and not so effective, the rest is pretty decent.

    You know what I really like about this kid............he proved to the world that you do not have to be in the NBA to be a professional basketball player. All he did was use a different media to show his mad skills. The professor is a professional basketball player......period. Like me, his height and weight are a bit small for NBA defense, but this young man's offensive skills make up for it. He would be a treat to the eye in the NBA. Steve Nash would probably lose to this young man. I love watching him handle the ball. I was a clumsy third stringer.....lol......I suck......but I love to watch the game!!!

  • @landon3093

  • @nwc313
    @nwc313 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I agree with you for the most part, but speaking as a former D3 player, this guy was more than good enough to play at that level. Played against and with a few guys who were similar in size and play style and were starters; none of them were close as far as handles or shooting.

    Around the 2 minute mark.. ma'fa' hits puberty and that's when it starts being 'unfair'. Growth as a human and the time committed to his craft really starts to pay off. The time commitment to the craft though.. Dedication and the respect of others that have no idea how good he actually is as a player. He's like the punk rock basketball player. DIY and happy where he's at with a respect for the game. Doesn't need the NBA to be happy from what it seems. But I don't know the guy so... my opinion.
