I admire these people who are able to create all sorts of entertaining card games, with just a standard deck.

Completely agree! I'm glad I get a chance to play them and share them with more people as I think they're fantastic types of games

I just got myself a bunch a cheap standard decks to try different games (Hatchi Train, Nanatoridori, Of What's Left, Bacon, etc).
I stumbled on your playlist with all theses games with a regular deck. It's just so good, thx a lot! I'll try a bunch for sure. Like what you're doing.

That's awesome to hear! Hope you find some that you enjoy, there's a lot of these games out there (including many I haven't covered yet)

Such an great design. Thanks for giving this game it's own dedicated video, it definitely deserves it. Question @11:57 when you lose 1 trick I thought that was game over there because I thought it was exactly 8 tricks per kingdom, but when you draw extra cards to your hand (using the Jack of clubs) maybe you have the option to play more tricks for that kingdom? Thanks!

You don't lose when you lose a trick, only if you don't have the required number of tricks won when your hand is empty at the end of a kingdom debate. Losing tricks happens and is often needed to win some of the lower numbered kingdoms

What is different with this version of the game with For Northwood? Thanks

There are a few small differences but they are mostly the same. The main ones being:
      - In this version, you lose if you fail at one kingdom while in For Northwood, each kingdom has a point value and you don't automatically lose after just losing one kingdom
      - In this version, there are only 4 types of powers (one for each suit) while in For Northwood, there are many different types of powers for the different rulers
      - In For Northwood, there is a solo campaign
There are a few other small rule changes like when you can play allies but I think those are the main ones

Another question, can you use the Jacks after revealing the card you need to respond to (mid-debate)?

You can not. You can only use it at the beginning of the kingdom after selecting it or between debates before revealing a new card
