Thank you again so much Chad! He indeed said that this “Made his year!” Mr. Luck greatly appreciates all of the kind words coming from everyone all over the country as well! ❤️

You’ve got that fire building thing down to a science. There’s something seriously satisfying about watching you shave the wood with that sharp ass knife.
Whoa this was some top quality stuff. Amazing photography, wood scraping, setting up the fire, cooking, the time lapse, your choice of music especially that harmonica (40:21) after the meal, all made it feel like a visual novella (for the lack of a better word). Can't wait to see how cozy the Van Life in winter with the sprinter will turn out.
Chad this may replace your photo session in the Tetons as my favorite video. You did such a great job outfitting the van to match your lifestyle. Keep on Truckin my friend and thanks for spreading the positive vibs for Carlton.
Sure good to see you out again, I really enjoy our adventures. My wife and I lived off grid in the Blue Mountains of SE WA for 18 years. My health made us move off our mountain, so thank you for letting us go with you via TH-cam.
Awesome landscape, and awesome production values as usual. And so nice of you to shout out to Carlton and his care giver. I'm sure it meant a lot. The care giver did a wonderful thing to reach out to you. ALL THE BEST to you Carlton. Be strong!

That rut you mentioned, yeah you’ve helped me out of mine. I’m now in my early 50s. While in my 20s and 30s I went hard. XC mtb racer, snowboarder, whitewater, you get the point. But then the rut began and was going strong for 10 years. I’ve since bought another Outback and started exploring the highlands in Southwest Va. Lots of solo trips bagged and have myself inspired a few friends to come along. Thanks, Chad.
I’ve been to Moab but saw only the touristy places, you brought Moab to life....thank-you! I was pulling a trailer, then, now I live in a van, it’s time to go back to Moab to explore. Thank-you! Carlton, I hope Chad’s adventures bring light to your day!
Carlton, I really hope that your health is improving. It's shows like this that keeps us going. hey chad, wayne, here from New Zealand here.. i have to say this episode is one of your best from rolling through the valley of giants in onion creek to the simply incredible majestic landscape fantastic keep up the great content you inspire us all.
You are like a modern cowboy man.. Love it! I'm glad to see you out in Moab, but at same time can't wait to see "winter storm warning is in affect." your roll out cooking setup gave me idea for my next build! 👍👍
I’m from SC but spent a month in Utah a couple of years ago camping .Saw the Mighty Five as well as Monument Valley. What a contrast from my area I’m from. It is magical around each corner. This episode brought back some great memories. There is a great salt they sale in that area Redmond Real Salt that comes from an ancient inland sea. As much as you enjoy cooking it will be a great addition to your seasoning arsenal. Nothing better than a meal cooked over hard wood. Keep on keeping on.

Can't help but make one more comment. After watching many of ur shows, it's become very clear u have an appreciable filming ability. I would venture to say, u probably produce as good, if not better footage, and editing, than any channel out there. Great job on that, in fact, I could kinda say it's too good for just a u-tube channel. More power to u.

Great video. Love Rving and we get out as often as we can but sometimes it just feels there are too many distractions to truly enjoy ourselves. You def need to keep things in perspective; what's important to do, what's nice to do, and what fits in the "whatever box". I use to travel with a camera, gopro, dashcam, and Iphone and lug three of them when hiking and I found I wasn't enjoying the hike. Now, I just stick with my iphone. Oh, and, um, duuude, V-neck-some of us feel like we’re CHOKING in crewneck t’s and hoodies (need those to have zippers). Just a thought. -Update: those super high arial shots really puts into perspective how tiny you are/massive the region is!
Prayers for Carlton. Fabulous video, so well done. Such a phenomenal place. Thank you for sharing this with those of us who may never get the opportunity to see it in person. I hope footage like this helps people to appreciate our planet and take better care of it.
I enjoy Chad and his videos so much. I just started to view his channel. All the camp fires remind me of my childhood. The only heat in our house was the fireplace in the living room I recall it was one of my chores to get the fire going and keep it stoked. Fond memory.
What a magnificent footage. Truly amazing. It only shows that our Almighty God created us to see the world, to feel what life is all about. Be kind to others. And always be thankful no matter what. Thanks Chad for this adventure. Keep on truckin!

@@earthangel8730 and living alone in a van doesn't?...you don't encounter cultures weather and environmental concerns?...let what go?
These are movies, gifts for us to enjoy and provoke our thoughts and emotions about our purpose here. Thank you Chad for making it so, and making it so beautifully. Bravo. 👏🏼
Anyone else having to watch this a FEW times, just to take it all in? My GOD, we have some GORGEOUS landscapes, eh? Oh, and, um, duuude, V-neck-some of us feel like we’re CHOKING in crewneck t’s and hoodies (need those to have zippers). Just a thought. -Update: those super high arial shots really puts into perspective how tiny you are/massive the region is!
Thanks Chad, everything about this adventure is awesome and I particularly love the music.
Thank you Chad I find your video very comforting while I am fighting and screaming for pancreatic cancer .

Hi Chad, glad to see you. I enjoyed your journey today. You make your videos so calming and peaceful with the music you play and the words you speak. So poetic. Thanks for sharing. Happy trails to you, until we meet again! God Bless. Keep safe.
The astoundingly vast scale of the landscape is truly epic and almost impossible to grasp, especially when you see the minuscule white speck of a vehicle moving along the distant road at 56:58.
I'm learning so much about van life watching your videos Chad. My goal when I retire in 5 years. I'll be 60. Looking forward to van life!😍
