I thought what a great invention that Unibit. Then I got a book .Popular Mechanics Drilling and Thread Cutting Handbook 1924. There's one in there. Old idea just remarketed. Thanks for the videos.
I use Uni bits, angle drills, and air saws in aircraft structural work. The good part is that metal isn't weldeable, the bad part is that metal isn't weldeable!
Hey Road King that floor is looking great Love to see the green grass and blossoms on trees You folks are about a month ahead of us here in Nova Scotia We usually travel down to Pa in June for the Windber minibike reunion but looks like covid 19 has stopped us from traveling again this year Keep up the awesome videos it gives us an adventure without leaving home
Morning RoadKing! Thats a nice job you've done there, Not many people would have thought of adding the crush tube into the support if it wasn't included in the repair part. This side is almost done now and it wont be long before you have all the new metal in the cab.
The quality of those multi-size drill bits depends on the number of flutes. The HFT ones usually only have one or two flutes, but they do work ok in aluminum. Haven't tried them in steel.
That right angle drill . I ended up buying one a few years ago for cabinet installs . I had a similar one ( adapter style that you did ) but when you’re in a blind hole , the adapter flips down and if you can’t get a second hand in the blind hole , it’s as useless as not having one . Anyway ,, I have the Milwaukee ra drill and they dewalt . The mil was cheaper ,,and its was actually better quality than the dewalt 👍😊
Dont know if anyone gives a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Been watching with my brother for the last couple of weeks xD
We use those cage nuts all the time for rack mount cabinets but I've only used M6 size so your solution is probably better. When the truck eventually goes to junkyard heaven, the one part remaining is going to be those spacer tubes.
Well done RoadKing. You should take a trip to Kentucky and help me weld on the old International. BTW, my surgery went off without a hitch. Newk from Kentucky
love the videos, im currently in the works of doing the same for my 66 250 however i cannot find the 66 front floor support anywhere online. do yu think i could make the same 64 supports work? i have carolina classics bookmarked and have kept my eye on it. thanks!
Remember this has to comply with family values!! You can’t talk about or show butt welding!! LOL! You’re making progress slow but sure! Too bad you don’t have room in the garage, working out in the driveway waiting on decent weather really slows things down. Hang in there buddy!
@@805ROADKING Well, when I was a young boy, I'd always drop in and linger at a Auto Body Shop in our neighborhood, on my home from school. :) Somehow I was amazed and interested to watch as the guys there, transformed a collision damaged car into a work of art! So now,.... you're it!
You're right about the weld through primers. Honda's stance on weld through primer - www.repairerdrivennews.com/2016/12/08/honda-explains-rationale-for-new-change-in-weld-through-primer-rules/ Love your work - going to be a great truck when your finished :)
haven't seen your other videos, but I've always assumed the cab mounts were the same in all the F series fords of the era. The inverted 'cone' coming down to the chassis. Did you modify that by cutting that out, or is this just how they did the F100?
Hey buddy ,, any chance you can write my phone number down for Mrs Rk ? I need first dibs before the estate auction 😂 Always well thought out buddy ,, love it 😊😉
That floor pan came out fantastic! No skimping there!!!!
Thanks Buddy!! I'm real pleased with the way it turned out!! Now I have to do the same exact thing to the passenger side!!☺
Very well done....when finished, you’ll have a solid and good looking truck....CHEERS
Thanks Gator!!☺
That looks, foot stompin’ solid, RK! Well done, RK👍
Solid, for sure.

I thought what a great invention that Unibit. Then I got a book .Popular Mechanics Drilling and Thread Cutting Handbook 1924. There's one in there. Old idea just remarketed. Thanks for the videos.
Alright RK. Works progressing and looks great. Thanks for the look!
Thanks Mac!!☺

Roadking was working on his A&P Certification back in the 80's, never followed through with it though!!☺
That floor came out great! I bet your rebuilt shoulder got a workout!
Hey Road King that floor is looking great
Love to see the green grass and blossoms on trees

Evening MrShin!! Thanks, hopefully the other side goes a little faster!!☺
Nice solid repair Buddy. That will last for a long time 👍
Thanks Lloyd!! Now we have to replace all the same metal on the passenger side, should go a little faster this time!!☺

Thanks alot Shawn!!☺
Nice job EJ. No more Fred Flintstone floors.
Thanks George!! We lost some of the air conditioning system too!!☺
Them cone drills are handy for all kinds of things, they make perfect holes and even can add a nice bevel too if you're good with them... :D
Yeah Buddy!! ☺
The quality of those multi-size drill bits depends on the number of flutes. The HFT ones usually only have one or two flutes, but they do work ok in aluminum. Haven't tried them in steel.
If you do alotta drilling in sheetmetal it worth getting a good one!!☺
Good quality weld-through primer is OK to use, just make sure you don't breathe the fumes.
That right angle drill .

I think I paid $50 for that Makita used, that thing got me outta many jams!!☺
looking good !!!

@Zayne Maxwell yea, have been using InstaFlixxer for months myself :D
Lookin good RK
Thanks bduff!!☺
great detail, my ocd ass appreciates that
Watching that upside down is kinda trippy. All the blood rushes to the monitor. ;p)
I put you guys on the steering column thinking you wouldn't get any vibration, I forgot it was mounted to the dash!!☺
We use those cage nuts all the time for rack mount cabinets but I've only used M6 size so your solution is probably better.
When the truck eventually goes to junkyard heaven, the one part remaining is going to be those spacer tubes.
Yeah Buddy!! Those tubes weighed as much as the whole mount weighed!!☺
Proper reversed weight reduction right there! Thanks for letting us in on it. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks for watching Olly!! I'll probably have to register it in a higher weight class when I'm done!!☺
Well done RoadKing. You should take a trip to Kentucky and help me weld on the old International. BTW, my surgery went off without a hitch. Newk from Kentucky
Thanks Newk!! That's great news Buddy!! We're hoping you have a fast recovery!!☺
Good to hear.
Looks good from here The factory never had enough bracing where the tranny cover bolts down
Thanks Buddy!! That's a real weak area, especially if half the floor is rotted away!!☺
love the videos, im currently in the works of doing the same for my 66 250 however i cannot find the 66 front floor support anywhere online. do yu think i could make the same 64 supports work? i have carolina classics bookmarked and have kept my eye on it. thanks!

Morning mate.will engine night be back soon buddy, miss the crew :o)
Evening Mate!! It's tough to say, both Mike and Lil' Dirtbike have unpredictable schedules at work!!☺

Just curious about you wire feed welder, 120 or 220 volts??
110 volt, 130 amp
👍👍👍👍
Thanks Buddy!!☺
👍
Thanks Bud!!☺
Is that why your cab is not level with your bed because of rotted cab mounts?
I borrowed a welder that doesnt use gas. Is there a wire i can use for this process that doesnt require gas? Thankyou
Flux core wire
:)
☺
Hey buddy ,, any chance you can write my phone number down for Mrs Rk ?
I need first dibs before the estate auction 😂
