I purchased this cover for my 19 steeda mustang. Its aold as being water proof and i can say first hand its absolutely not water proof. I installed it on a clean dry car and day 2 on my car a lite sun shower blew through and it leaks anywhere you have seams. Unfortunately it has seams that run down the middle in multiple spots from the rear of the car all the way to the front of the car and the mirror pockets leak as well. So when you take the cover off your nice clean car it wil be completely wet.

Sorry to hear about that experience you had, I would talk to Cover Land and tell them about it as its not normal
As you can see in my video I had a good storm and took it off in-front of the Camera and it wasn’t wet ( keep in mind I didn’t take it off right after)
I dont know how new you are to my channel but my reviews are honest regardless of sponsorships or Not

16:34 Did the cover cause the swirl marks? Heat doesn't cause swirl marks. Was there any moisture under the cover when you pulled it off? Did you notice any moisture inside the vehicle? How hot was it inside the vehicle when you pulled off the cover? How about the area by the spoiler where the water was collected?

The previous owner loved car washes….its full of swirls lol
Loving the cover, the heat to the touch was kinda hot but the interior was significantly cooler, the water looks to evaporate, but I help it out when I see it

My old eclipse GSX had a carbon fiber hood, hatch and side view mirrors. The sun destroyed the epoxy coat. So I hear where you're coming from, and it's the only reason I haven't invested in a CF hood, lip, trunk, and rear diffuser on my Camaro.
I've been looking into ways to protect carbon fiber, adding a clear coat, ceramic coating, clear bra/film, etc. I hadn't thought about a good car cover. You'd think that as expensive as it is, they'd figure out a way for CF products to last outside.

I was really wanting a hood but they are simply too expensive to not have the protectionI need, now its too late because I already bought a hood!
I cam definitely see how this cover will help keep the carbon from fading away!
