thank you so much for your video. I will be visiting Taroko next weekend and since I’ll be traveling solo I won’t be able to afford a taxi so I am planning to take the bus just like you did so it helps to know what to expect. if you don’t mind, I have a couple of questions, when you get off the bus and walk a little bit to enjoy the walking route, how do you know how to get back to the bus? Are there any signs around you? Also, How did you reach the temple and beach towards the end of the video? Thank you so much.😊
Hello there. Glad that the video was helpful. You may approach the bus information counter for the bus timing & schedule. Where you alight from the bus is the same bus stip to board to go your next destination. They also have a bus app to download that will show you the bus arrival in real time. For the temple, it is near Hello there. Glad that the video was helpful. You may approach the bus information counter for the bus timing & schedule. For the temple, it is near the last bus stop; cross the suspension bridge and you will reach it. You won't miss it, it is quite easy to spot. Hope this helps. (:
thank you so much for your answer! I am back again to ask about the bus fare. Did you purchase a bus pass or did you just use your easy card to get on and off the bus? because I read that there are different bus passes depending on the bus route. I thought that it would be easier for me to just use my easy card, if you don’t mind me asking what did you do and what would you recommend? Thank you so much.
Hello again! I bought the day pass ticket from the ticket counter at Hualien bus terminal. Reason was because it would be cheaper for me as I will be hopping in and out of the buses to visit multiple attractions.
Do you know or have the bus time table for the trails going from and back to Hualien for Shakadang, Swallow Grotto, and nine tails? I was able to see to / from Hualiena and Baiyang. This is for bus 310. Open to other bus routes provided it starts from Hualien@@cozyoasis

You can download their bus app for the bus schedule, search for bus 310 Taroko route: Android: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tms.tw.governmentcase.longway Apple iOS: apps.apple.com/tw/app/ibus-%E5%85%AC%E8%B7%AF%E5%AE%A2%E9%81%8B/id705700740 From what I know, only bus 310 goes to Taroko National Park, it stops at Shakadang Trail too.
Thank you for sharing the video. We’ll be visiting Taroko next week and this is very helpful. Question: Is this the same bus that you ride from Taipei? Or you transfer a bus after you alight in Hualien? TIA
Hi there. I took the train from Taipei to Hualien and spent a night in a hotel. The next morning, I took the local bus from Hualien bus terminal to explore Taroko National Park. Hope this helps.
You have the most helpful video of anyone that has been to Taroko. Thank you so much

Hi I heard Shakadang trail is pretty nice at Taroko. Was there a reason why you did not do that trail?
Hello. Yeah I heard that it is a nice trail too. I had lesser time to explore due to the bus delay, so I had to skip it.

@@cozyoasis thank you for the reply! Have a good day!
The word "Xiuliu" in the title of this video should be "Xiulin"(秀林county).
Thank you for pointing it out. Appreciate the help. (:
@@cozyoasis You're welcome.
