where did u book the bus?
Hi, is it alright if we use a snippet of this video? Feel free to contact me for more info
Yeah sure! What will you be using it for?
@cozyoasis sure we are planning on using a brief less than 10 second snippet for one of our local shows coming up next year as we introduce bishan 😁
Sounds great. Please give credit in your video. Appreciate it. All the best in your video creation. Cheers!
@cozyoasis Of course sure thing 😁
can you tell me which month of the year did you go? It looks pretty cold in the video.
I went in January 2024.
@ thanks! Going there on Dec 10, hopefully not too cold
Hope so too. May you have a good trip!
hi, may i ask what time is the last bus from kawaguchigo back to tokyo? thanks a lot
Hello, I was wondering, is the dinner included in the price of the room? I have trouble finding information about it
I booked mine through Agoda. For my booking, dinner was not included in the pricing. I paid for it upon arrival at the ryokan.
Hello, how did you get on the lake after the oishi park? Is it walking distance only?
Yeah. It is a short walk to the lake. (:
Planning on going to Kawaguchiko In October of next year, loved your video thanks for sharing
Most welcome (:
Which month did you visit?
I visited in January 2024
Is there a certain schedule for each stop to go on the next one? Or you can just leave and take a bus whenever you’re done?
You can just leave and take the bus whenever you are done. Hope this helps
Hi can we bring luggages in the bus?
Yes you can. You can stow your luggages at the bottom of the bus. There's plenty of space.
Thank you for sharing your trip, you had some very nice views, I was really glad that you could see Mount Fuji so clearly on such a beautiful day. Greetings from Chile!
Most welcome (:
Is there a fare difference if I pay by cash instead of buying IC or JR cards?
Hello there. I am not sure if you can use the JR pass for kawaguchiko as it is not a JR station. I have provided a link below if you need more information: www.jrailpass.com/blog/kawaguchiko-station#:~:text=IC%20cards%20such%20as%20Pasmo,between%20Tokyo%20and%20Kawaguchiko%20Station.
@@cozyoasis Thanks!
@ange7o4ever most welcome (:
What is the name of this ryokan please?
Hello. It's Ryokan Asunaro.
How long was the entire duration of the red line bus route?
It's about 30min from kawaguchiko station to the end point Oishi park, so it is 1 hour for a round trip. Hope it helps.
Fantastic!..really taught me...I right away did my first soil propagation...I did check many other sites, strangely was afraid to try, as it somehow seem quite confusing, and yes I was afraid to...after watching your site, it was much easier...thank you..
Thank you for doing a video tour of the campervan, would like to ask how and where did you store your luggage during your travel?
You are most welcome. That's a great question. We placed our luggage 🧳 on the sofa seat behind the driver seat. Hope this helps.
Hi, Thank you so much for sharing. I just clicked the link you shared but I got JPY 4,400 for roundtrip ticket from Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko to Shinjuku. I'm curious how did you get JPY 2,200 for round trip ? That was such a steal tho
Oh interesting. Thanks for sharing that. To be honest, I am not sure why. My best guess is that the price was seasonal, and it is peak season now? Either that or they have increased the price.
Good video. I’m traveling to Japan around February. Is it recommended to stay in Kawaguchiko for 1 or 2 nights or is daytime good enough?
Depends on which area you want to see. If you want to cover all the well known sight seeing spots at Kawaguchiko, 1 day probably is not enough. Take note it takes 2+hrs to get there by bus. And the last bus leave at 5+pm.
@@哥坤-s7o thanks for that. Will stay there at least 1 night
Hi, thank you for the video. I hate heights and wondering if there is another way than the ropetrain?
Did the bus bring you back to Shinjuku station?
Yeah they did. (:
Good ryokan place to stay. hope next view will have breakfast, lunch, Afternoon snack and dinner. Also have mountion view with sakura or snow..
BRILLIANT Foody video, Thank you. Great NOT to hear or see people eating like so many idiots do on You Tube......quality film with great subtitles, well done. PLUS you list all the items in your comment box....which I ve copied and pasted.... BTW looks like HOT star fried chicken has closed down.
Thanks for the affirmation. I am glad you found it useful.
My advise to day trippers to Kawaguchiko is to give it a miss, unless you yearn to have a good photo with Mr Fujiyama.Afterall we’re there to relax and not to rush and perhaps cos inconvenience to others.
Thanks Vincent for the advice to the audiences. Am totally with you that a holiday should be relaxing. I did a day trip, and it still felt relaxed, the trick would be to just focus on a few key areas to take your time to soak in the beautiful scenery. Of course, spending a night or two will definitely help in slowing the pace even more.
Lovely. Do you add clay ? Or how do you balance the ph ?
Great question. I use worm castings and burnt rice husk to neutralise the ph of the soil mix.
Where was the fruit shop?
Hello. I am so sorry it has been quite some time ago, I can't really recall. My private hire driver took me there.
No worries! I’m currently doing some research for my travel to Taiwan when I saw your video. It really helped me plan out my Yangmingshan itinerary. Thank you! ❤
@ms.creant Most welcome. May you have a pleasant trip!
Bishan park oasis.😊
Hey..Nice video, Is it possible to purchase the red line bus ticket online?
Hida beef set costs only 7800 yen? How many grams of beef is that? Its a good price! 👍🏻😋
Yeah you are absolutely right. It is a great price for quality Wagyu beef. I do not know how many grams was it, but it was more than enough for 2 persons.
Can I ask you some questions , I wanna know what time that you take the roupway to mt.Fuji panoramic Rope way
I believe I took the ropeway between 10am to 11am.
@@cozyoasis thank u :)
Thank you! This soil mix boosted root growth of rhaphidophora tetrasperma that was sitting only with several roots for 5 months.
You are most welcome. Happy to hear that the soil mixed worked well for you. (:
i just re-potted most of my indoor plants. i found that my previously fluffy mix of peat and perlite had become all clumped and suffocated many roots, in either wet or dry state. i'm just getting into the more mineral mixes, as i've become convinced that using mostly dead organic matter leads to either root rot or alternately hydrophobic conditions. i chose to mix about 80% 2mm pumice with the rest being peat moss. hope they recover. i think these more open and less organic matter mixes are good for most house plants, not just aroids/epiphytes. thanks for your info.
nice. thanks for sharing. i saw a video of a person that swears by putting some sugar and vinegar in water for cut flowers. would this help at all cuttings to root? another experiment this brings to mind is to find out if increasing the amount of oxygen helps at all, probably by way of a small (aquarium) bubbler.
Hi, great video . I have a query: for the sightseeing bus , does it drop off and then wait for you to come back within a timeframe or how does this work ? It will be helpful to me if you can provide this information. Thanks
Great video and very informative. Thank you.
Hi! May I ask how much did you pay in the red line bus using your IC card every time you ride going to each stop in red lines?
I saw your video yesterday, when i arrived in Takayama and now im waiting in line, 17 minutes and i will try that tasty looking meat😂. Arigatou gozaimasu
Have a good time at Takayama!
@@cozyoasis Thank, it was wondeful. Im sitting in the Shinkansen to Hiroshima right now and thinking about the juicy and tender Hida Beef😂.
Great Video! Did you use a DJI action 2 hanging around your neck to film most of the scenes? Seem like no one notice that you were filming which is great since you can blur the people later. Thank you Very much.
Hi there. I used the Gopro Hero 10, the camera is small enough so not many people noticed it.
"promo sm"
hi, may i know what camera you use to shoot the video?
Hello. I used my phone to film for this video - Samsung S23 Ultra.
Very nice
Thanks for adding the updates! It is giving me confidence to chop mine!
I learned so much! How much does the bus cost each time in Kawaguchiko if you use the ic card?
awesome video!! :)
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
Hi, after going down from the ropeway do we need to take a bus again going to Oishi Park? And what is the name of the store near the park?
Yeah. You will need to take the bus again. The name of the shop is Oishi Park Cafe.
where we can check the prices?
Hi there. I have included the google map location of each of the stores in the video description. You may go to reviews section and check out the menu prices. Hope this helps. (:
Is this the Shinjuku - Fujigoko・Mt. Fuji 5th Station Line route that you did?
Hello, what time you visit the mt fuji panoramic ropeway? Seems not too crowded when u visit
Hi there. I went around 11am. Though the crowd levels can be unpredictable.
Thanks for your respond. For the seat, what side you choose on the bus for best viewing? Right or left? Really enjoy the video ❤️
When you are departing from Kawaguchiko Station on the loop bus, seat on the left side. The view of the lake will be on your left. When you are heading back towards Kawaguchiko Station, seat on the right side. The view of the lake will be on your right.
@@cozyoasis how about when using bus goiing back to shinjuku, which side you recommend to get best view of fuji during journey?
Unfortunately, you won't be able to select either the left or right seat for the bus trips between Shinjuku and Kawaguchiko. The system will auto select and allocate the seats to you.
Thank you for such a helpful video. I had so many questions answered with your help!
It was a pleasure! (:
Hi! The Ropeway looks really empty. Which day did you go? Any tips on avoiding the crowded days?
I guess I was really fortunate. It is hard to predict the crowd levels. As a general rule, avoid the holiday seasons in Japan - last week of dec, first week of Jan, end Apr to May & mid-August. Hope this helps.
