How to separate an image into layers in Cricut Design Space

  • A short tutorial video to show you how to separate a JPG or PNG file into layers for Cricut Design Space. If you have a cartoon-style image with an outline, you can use the Contour tool to separate a flattened image into a multi layered cut file for Cricut.

    What if you have a more complex design? Say letters with an image as a letter and it’s connected to a letter? I enjoyed your tutorial but when I went to cut things out ran into some snags
