Mercedes ESP Run Flat Triangle Warning Lights Diagnose

The problem:
When ever my wheels spin (ice, gravel, etc), or when I went above 20km/hr on a cold day I would get a "ESP, ABS, Power Steering, Run Flat Indicator inoperative..." message and my ABS would no longer work.
Dealership solution:
Replace ESP/ABS module for $1,600 + $150/hr labor. They would not do any "repair" aside from a scan and replace entire unit.
My solution:
Un-plug ESP/ABS module, sprayed electrical contact spray ($6.99) on both ends, cleaned both ends with high pressure compressed air, re-plugged. This actually fixed my problem and it has not come back even in -16C. I guess the plug gets unseated over time and dirt gets in... some of the connectors fail to carry proper voltage to the ABS module, and it throws a fit. I bet in most cases it's just a bad connection, low battery, or one of the brushes on the ABS motor went bald ($18-30 DIY fix).

I have a c class and it causes me this problem
When I turn off the car and turn it on again, the problem is removed. And after a while, when I'm using it, it pulls me out again.
You can know how to solve this problem????

well, i got an itresting one, so when i go full power, my ESP, can suddenly stop working and i lose all engine power, that returns werry slowly, so is it a bad connection? also for everyone driving a c200 cdi w204 2008 model chekc your taillight, my car and my sisters car that is an A class, and on both cars the right taillight and left has almost GONE UP IN FLAMES!!!! ther is som sort of bad connecting or somthing, so plz chekc this, oh, and on my sisters car the connection one the lighit was almost fully melted, SO BE AWARE, anyway thx for the video, and sorry for my bad english -_-

I had the same problem. ESP inoperative and runflat indicator came on. After that, the accelerator does not rev the engine at all (i was going 80km/hrs on a road). After i came to a stop, i couldn't start the car. Diagnostic shows it's nothing to do with the battery or alternator. A swap of a new ECU unit removed all the errors and engine was able to rev.

I changed the yaw sensor on my cls 320 w219 problem solved sensor on the back of drive seat under the carpet on the centre of car

I still don't know what these messages actually say. It's all double dutch to a computer car luddite. No wonder we oldies who are used to good handling cars without the gimmickry, get so bloody confused.I live on a very windy and hilly road in Australia. I never get snow. What is the point of all these applications? I have a Mercedes C 240.. 2007. Any real comments welcome.
