Great video. One 22:31 thing I do on my Mercedes is whenever I remove a sensor or wiring connector is to spray the connector with electroclean before replacing, just in case there is any dirt , corrosion, etc. Well done, love your channel.

I knew that sensor would fix your codes. Too many systems depend on it. As far as the Air Ride, I would just swap them out for coil overs. Yes they can be fixed but many people complain about the ride and stability. Maybe it's an easy fix and you decide that you don't like the ride. At least you have an option. I saw 19" wheels and tires. The tires still are low profile. Yes rubber is a rotating mass. What I hate is the air pressure changes quickly because of the low air volume of the tire. Check the tire cold. Drive at highway speeds for 20-30 minutes. Immediately check the air pressure, it will read high. If you drop the air pressure the tires will be flat when they cool. Using nitrogen helps but your tires will ride harder because of the difference in compressibility between nitrogen and plain old air which is 70% nitrogen give or take. I would go to the stock 18s. I would do the research on getting rid of the staggered wheels.

I had this issue 100 miles from home. I was nervous about the tow. Somehow it resolved itself. I think I had some road clay in a place it shouldn’t be. Two weeks later still no issue. Hope to never see it again, I was stuck in first gear only.

I suggest you keep the old channel name, it is unique. We don't know what will happen in the future, maybe diesel cars will be relevant again

    Very common issue with 221
Also ABS /ESP/ABR control module goes bad a lot on them.

Is there much difference in replacing the front wheel sensors?

How much did that car cost with 200k miles? There's one locally at auction...

Hi! I currently own a C216 with your same motor and do some work on it myself too, what OBD reader you use and oes it allow you to do some programming too?
    Thank you
My suggestion for the channel name is S/Class DIY

hello I have a class s320cdi 2007 I had the abs esp light unavailable and the car tends to restrict it at 3000 rpm and as soon as I let go of the accelerator it gives small gas costs on its own. I ran it for diagnostics and changed the rear abs sensor but the car still has the same faults. What should I do ?

Could this be the same on a c220? I have the same error. Once the error shows I stop the car, turn off, turn on and it drives normal again, engine light still on. Do the same again, leave it over night and the car is fine again.

for me it shows the message rear left sensor, the car does not drive, so it must be the sensor, I replaced it with a new one and it still shows errors. So there must be either a break in the cable or something with the pump :(

Leider ist es nicht immer der ABS Sensor. Oftmals ist es es ein defekter ABS Ring der zu dem Fehler führt. Diese Reparatur ist um ein vielfaches aufwendiger.
