I didn’t even make it past the interview. They frowned upon truancy that I didn’t even have back in school. Said I had my license revoked when I was 15 or 16 when I never even got a license in the first place until I was 18 and never had any truancy issues so idk what the hell that was. I just wasn’t wearing a suit and didn’t look fancy enough. I’ll stick to local departments. I wanted to serve my state and do something worthwhile but if you ain’t made of gold your trash
They start out writing tickets like crazy, being super troopers hoping for advancement. 15 years later they still doing the same thing with no advancement & have pure spite for the drivers they pull over, because they must hate their own lives. Must be awful! I've never actually had a state trooper be friendly to me when trying to start a casual conversation. County cops, city cops all been really casual & friendly with me when confronted, but not state. They seem to view everyone they confront as a threat or enemy. Poor public relations definitely makes their jobs more dangerous. They definitely need to fix that! That stigma does not sit well with the public!
Is ur brain under developed? Howbout crashes on the hiway at night? Who's gonna respond to those? YOU? I always find it comical how ignorant ppl are about Police yet they are the FIRST ones to call them when they heed help smfh. Another snowflake who voted for Biden. Hows that working out for ya?
Well that's their problem. If they want someone they should start letting 18 year olds apply they could get more people. I use to work for TDOC and they talk about staffing issues but let someone go for anything.
30 yo out of shape clean criminal history could get into shape relatively easily no college degree Yeah…. We’re looking for someone a bit more qualified Someone with a degree a bit younger bla bla bla…..
If they weren't hung up on how someone looks in a uniform instead of worrying about if the person is capable of doing the job just as good as the "Sleeve sewn to the arm" look along with the usual facial hair and tattoo policy, they might get more viable candidates. But they are more about a clean cut action figure look.
