    I'd be proud to have the Lt. with me on any type of encounter, anywhere, anytime. He epitomizes the professionalism that is required for a state trooper or law enforcement officer.

    It is ENOUGH these types of so called old school agencies trying to do everything in very militaristic way. In Modern world, law enforcement training has EVOLVED a lot and is WAY MORE EFFECTIVE!

    • @mylescunningham374
      @mylescunningham374 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They still have to be prepared none-the-less. You can't train them on how to treat a crying baby then expect them to react properly to a shooter. They're being trained in all fields.

      @@mylescunningham374 true... but in most modern academies, this style doesnt exist anymore.

    hellllllllll naw..... Smh, I would never go to this type of academy........ However, I am attending a 12 week community college Police Academy here in TN in a few weeks; it's a very laid back, college environment, non stress academy

    • @W4MBU
      @W4MBU 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And that is the problem a no stress laid-back Academy that's good for the book learning but not knowing how to control one's self during a high level stress environment is a real bad problem and believe it or not a lot of the new Cadets of nowadays really want the old way of the academy but at the end of the day the teacher is going to be the streets someone Works in

    Honestly seems like they trying to be militaristic.. I'm not about to leave the military to become disrespected during training to become law enforcement it seems a bit too much

      The training they are receiving can be the difference between life or death when used in real life situations. i would much rather have training in this fashion.

    • @floored3078
      @floored3078 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The military just manipulates you and persuades you into doing what they say for minimum pay to feel like part of a team or "family." That's just persuasion tactics and all the drill instructors literally laugh their ass off at how you all eat it up.

      There is definitely a difference from dealing with stress in the military and with stress in law enforcement it’s two different worlds and this is coming from a veteran himself.
