- Episode 10 of the popular IndianOil Now Hear Us Digital Concert Monthly Series features an electrifying performance by the Carnatic vocalist Vignesh Ishwar. He is accompanied by L Ramakrishnan on violin, NC Bharadwaj on mridangam and Anirudh Athreya on kanjira. Tanpura support is provided by Vignesh's student Navaneetha Krishnan.
The performance was shot early one morning at Kanakavalli's flagship store in Kingsley, Chennai in the lovingly restored century-old family home built in the colonial style with its beautiful pure white architecture. Vignesh's performance reflects the grandeur of the surroundings and the crisp accompaniment of his co-artistes augment the wonderful atmosphere of the early September morning. Enjoy the music. - เพลง

A wonderful concert by Vidwan Vignesh Ishwar. He has already established himself as an accomplished vocalist. 👏 Starting with a serene kambhoji (O rangasAyee) a brisk kalyani (birAna brova idi) followed, and then came a delectable RTP in atANa. A composed huseni (Sri kAlahastheesa ) followed with a beautiful varAli. Then came a rAgamAlikA (neenyAkO) with a tillana in hamirkalyani. The entire concert was sung with such a bhakti-bhAvam. The svara prayogas, diction etc were just out of the world! The violin support by Vidwan L.Ramakrishnan was superlative. He followed closely and embellished the swaras with such a beauty. The percussion support by Vidwan NC Bharadwaj and Vidwan Anirudh Athreya was magnificent. The brief tanis and then the main tani was handled well. All in all, an excellent concert 👍
Vignesh's music is so deep yet so joyous all at once :) The Hamir Kalyani thillana was so so enjoyable
Ajoy Chakraborty used to say at the commencement of his concerts that if he sings well, the credit goes entirely to his Guru, and if he makes mistakes, they are entirely his own. Vignesh Ishwar is one of the best singers of his age group. His Gurus have done a wonderful job. My hats off to you Vignesh.

This is how a concert is supposed to be...without unnecessary gimmickry and showcasing of voice range..
The relaxed pace with which O Rangasaayee is delivered makes it a refreshing treatment. Kamboji can be a very high voltage and power packed ragam in a concert. But it sounds beautiful this way too. I don't feel like listening to the rest of the concert right now after listening to it.
Yes, after that high note, you fear sliding down😊. My sentiments too.

A fantastic concert by Mr. Vignesh Ishwar. He's curated a beautiful voice and uses it powerfully. The choice of raagas starting with kambhoji and the taanam in atana were properly embellished with the following huseni, varaali and then hamir kalyani. Just amazing flow with all the accompanying artistes providing superb support. Overall a great performance by the team. Last but not the least, Kudos to IOCL for the concept and the effort in bringing out such events and encouraging the artists. Compliments to the sound team for such wonderful clarity. Vignesh Iswar, Always, always enjoyed your concert and was so pleased that you were keeping the tradition, rendering like the Dyons such as KVN. Was disappointed hearing your jet speed rendering in 'biraana brOva" - Completely; threw me out of the mood of the Kriti. Do you think the composer intended that?? Perhaps not. Would really like to hear your response.
