@@alexanderkovalchuk6292 Most cars are huge these days because of added plastics, wires, circuit boards, harnesses, sensors. All that weight works against you off road. Especially with conventional FWD AWD.
@krijadtes agreed. That's why my only love is 76 lc. No useless plastic, no sensors, all big and made from steel. But unfortunately this isn't convinued wuth my family ;(
Now I know you said this is a 4 and 1/2 inch lift. But when you look at it from the front (post lift) it looks like you didn't lift it much at all. By the way, you may want to look into figuring out how to disable the VCM (Viable Cylinder Management) system. That feature has proven to be a good thing for fuel savings but a bad thing for engine longevity.
@@Sandmansa HRG is measuring the lift from the wheel well, not the subframe. The subframe clearance went up approximately two inches. The new tires will lift the subframe another 1.5” All in all it is a great start to the build! Break over and departure angles have been massively improved and the Cv axles are still at a good angle.
@@krijadtes JonhnDZ has a lifted and modified Passport and he was able to get the transfer case repaired under warranty. Lifting does not immediately void your warranty. Looking good! I'm JEALOUS. We plan to drive our 23 Trailsport from Fort Myers, FL to Alaska and back. Looking forward to Top Of The World Highway and everything in between. I'm sticking with the 2.25 inch leveling kit from Truxxx and stock size tires but I will get some AT tires for more durable sidewalls. There are not many choices for 18 inch wheels tho. Shame the national parks are taking a broad brush approach and keeping all AWD vehicles off many of their trails. I get why they are doing it, but not how they are implementing it. th-cam.com/video/Sp-2qrJW_Yo/w-d-xo.html
@@GotterAdventure Heck yeah! I don't know how much. I'm going to look at posting direct from my phone for quick updates along the way. Can't wait to see you prove the haters wrong with this build. I'm sure people will be jealous once you get the tires dialed in
I still smile every time I walk up to it! I am hoping I can get the new tires to fit...

Congrats on the new member of the family.
LOL Thanks! it does feel like that sometimes!
Hmm. The 5-seater Passport is even bigger than the first-gen 8-seater Pilot ). But I still like cubic Pilot old design, as for me
The increased size goes into the Passenger space which will be welcome for our 3 growing boys. I like the look of both!

I'm really digging the lift.
Does the car sway from left to right on high speed?
@@luisochoa495 ride feels stock other than the increased height. Very stable on the interstate.

@@GotterAdventure That's pretty hard to believe given my experience with Honda warrantees. Or any manufacturer.
@@krijadtes it probably helps to have a build that is visible to the public.
HRG listed it for ridgeline assuming its the same set up?
They may not have officially posted the Passport lift yet. I would recommend contacting them to ask if it is available.
