OMG thank you!! I've been told for years that it wasn't possible to mute the shutter sound. I've been told the same thing about muting number pad sounds while dialing a phone number... any adivce on how to do this?
Alright guys i got you all 😅 So if you also Facing this problem, don’t worry i have solved it Just go to shortcuts and do same thing as you see in a video and when you get to choose between when opened camera or closed select closed and then put the level of volume you want your phone to be on. NO. I just want a “turn off shutter sound” in the camera app or settings. Simple. And not stupid. When did Apple get daft about this?. Oh wait. They STILL don’t have a stylus in their phone because Steve Jobs didn’t see “the need”. Is Steve Jobs an artist??!? No, he wasn’t, so he shouldn’t have been the one to decide what the rest of us “don’t need”. Apple, I’m not going to carry my ipad around everywhere in order to use a stylus. Get a stylus in the phone already-we’ve been begging for 15 years. Do you want android to look smarter than you? So far, on this point, they certainly do. A stylus is nOT an android marker. A stylus is an ARTIST marker. How many artists use your phones? Please get the marketing done. I went from middle-aged to OLD age waiting for this. Are you just dissing artists and how many there are of us? I think you are apathetic about this, which is making an impression, all right. I’m tired of feeling invisible to Apple. Call this a genuine review on an otherwise pretty nice phone. Can’t we kick-it-up-a-notch? About that shutter sound issue, that feels like the 3rd world right there. I guess I’ll just sacrifice live photos because I’m sure as heck not going to constantly turn my volume up and down. I take a LOT of photos, and I want the shutter sound out of the picture. There is no reason to have it in the first place, it’s not a physiologically mechanical shutter. Why are we pretending it is? There are many places I don’t want a shutter sound drawing attention and distracting people. This is IMPORTANT!!

Ok the left side there is a switch just click it backwards
Also don’t forgot to do the reverse mechanism
