It works with my 15. I did it by myself then I found out this video. I also add DND mood on while open camera app. So this video is not fake, it's works fine.
It is silent because you are shooting in “live” mode, and you can do that whole lot easier than the complicated method you just demonstrated. Besides, live mode uses up a lot more photo storage space because it is a mini video, not just a single photo.
It worked great, well when there is a solution at least with the help of commands, and if you could still turn off the squeaky annoying sound from screenshots, it's terrible when your phone is set to full volume and when you make a screenshot, sometimes a very loud squeak from the screenshot 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
It worked just fine for my 15 Pro, it just doesn’t turn the volume back up when you close it. I changed the automation to toggle silent mode when camera is opened and closed, and that fits my purposes well
At least watch the video twice before uploading, by what intention you are filming it ..! (THE FINAL CLICKS WERE TAKEN UNDER LIVE MODE WHICH WON'T MAKE ANY SOUND EITHER WAYS)
Just set your phone to mute. Trust this is so much easier than this. This video talks about only about the one side of the story. After you do it, and take a photo. The volume of your phone sets to 0. You will need to have to turn it up afterwards.
