Candy, I want to share with you some advice that has really helped me when it comes to overeating, which is something I’ve struggled with: someone once said to me, “when you are eating, remind yourself that this isn’t your last chance to eat what you want. The food will be there later, or tomorrow, or another day. You don’t have to eat it all right now as if it’s your last chance.” It really helped me because when I’m eating and getting full, sometimes I feel like I have to keep eating to enjoy all the delicious food on my plate, but this reminds me that I can always come back to it later or have it again another day, and that makes putting the fork down easier. Candy, when you were eating and you said “I am so full but I really want to eat these eggs,” it would’ve helped to have this mindset of “but I can have these eggs another day or later. I don’t HAVE to have them right NOW. They aren’t going anywhere.” This helps you to feel like you are not depriving yourself, just delaying it for another time.

I had a weight problem so my opinion is my experience with food at one time. I always filled my plate and would finish it. (full or not full) I didn't have a camera or ordering it or tipping. As I was growing up my mom would always say "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach" BUT I finished my plate. In any event "ANOURTINE6204" I NEVER HAD A RITUAL AS TO HOW i ATE, WHAT I WOULD EAT FIRST, ETC. I JUST FINISHED WHAT I PUT ON MY PLATE, WHICH WAS (of course) WAAAY to much. As for your comment on "favorite brand of cigarettes" there's NO comparison. I never ATE my cigarettes'.. hahaha. Seriously tho, being way overweight like I was, my reason for "Over ordering" was cause I always thought I would have leftovers for that night or the next day. I do not think that Candy is trying to FOOL any of us. She has a background in part as an actress. She had to grow up awfuly young. She makes now a living for herself quite honestly. She tells us stuff about what and who various parts of her meals bring to mind. I love and support this woman. She does not know me, but somehow I feel close to her listening as I do to her telling the story. At a family reunion dinner years ago my grandmother was telling everyone something or another and her husband thought it would be acceptable to call her on a fact or two, by saying “That is a god damned lie! My precious aunt stood gracefully at the head of her table, no doubt exhausted from the preparation of the meal…stood up and gracefully said. “Can’t a woman lie a little in her own house?” There you go. I am just curious here (no judgement!)…when you were hospitalized with your infection, did any MD’s offer a referral to bariatrics or nutritionists? The health problems you have are a direct result of the obesity/eating disorder. So it seems to me this would be a logical referral for physicians to make. I wish you well!

You can easily eat 3 eggs a day without any problems, but you have to do physical activities like hiking, housework or fitness. Unfortunately she cannot move. The problem here is more the fried potatoes and the white toast with jam. Too much fat and sugar.

I still don't get how Americans can call this a breakfast. Sausages, eggs, fries, pancakes, toasts, sometimes beans. Dang! That's a lot of food and carbs! I had a weight problem so my opinion is my experience with food at one time. I always filled my plate and would finish it. (full or not full) I didn't have a camera or ordering it or tipping. As I was growing up my mom would always say "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach" BUT I finished my plate. In any event "ANOURTINE6204" I NEVER HAD A RITUAL AS TO HOW i ATE, WHAT I WOULD EAT FIRST, ETC. I JUST FINISHED WHAT I PUT ON MY PLATE, WHICH WAS (of course) WAAAY to much. As for your comment on "favorite brand of cigarettes" there's NO comparison. I never ATE my cigarettes'.. hahaha. Seriously tho, being way overweight like I was, my reason for "Over ordering" was cause I always thought I would have leftovers for that night or the next day. Problem WAS I always ended up eating everything, every time. (Like I knew in the back of my mind I was going to finish it) OH, I WAS a cigarette smoker too. Never heard "your" comparison before. At a family dinner there was a time when my aunt
I do not think that Candy is trying to FOOL any of us. She has a background in part as an actress. She had to grow up awfuly young. She makes now a living for herself quite honestly. She tells us stuff about what and who various parts of her meals bring to mind. I love and support this woman. She does not know me, but somehow I feel close to her listening as I do to her telling the story. At a family reunion dinner years ago my grandmother was telling everyone something or another and her husband thought it would be acceptable to call her on a fact or two, by saying “That is a god damned lie! My precious aunt stood gracefully at the head of her table, no doubt exhausted from the preparation of the meal…stood up and gracefully said. “Can’t a woman lie a little in her own house?” There you go. Candy is a multi gifted lady and fun and expressive and kind. She owes us nothing and yet rewards us with herself. I love that for her and for me.💕

I am just curious here (no judgement!)…when you were hospitalized with your infection, did any MD’s offer a referral to bariatrics or nutritionists? The health problems you have are a direct result of the obesity/eating disorder. So it seems to me this would be a logical referral for physicians to make. I wish you well!

I'm sorry but that's to much food especially eggs and potatoes the cholesterol and diabetes worries me. You can easily eat 3 eggs a day without any problems, but you have to do physical activities like hiking, housework or fitness. Unfortunately she cannot move. The problem here is more the fried potatoes and the white toast with jam. Too much fat and sugar.

Besides crying, all you did in that hospital visit was think about what food you wanted to order when you got home. You are so happy when you are opening up takeout bags and boxes, THEN after eating, all the pain, the negative thoughts, etc.. Keep going Candy and you won't have to live like this any more.

Very sad. Food is a drug. The excitement she has when opening the boxes. This eating disorder would be horrible. I used to use food to cope with my feelings. Thank God I changed my ways after health issues. Eat to live, not live to eat. This addiction is killing this lady. I hope she can get the psychological help before it's too late. You're not a freak show.
