How long do you think it takes to get a good hightop loc from bald (Im not bald)

@@unknownchristian341 average person grows half an inch per month and you need 3-4 inches to start coils(starter locs) so about 6-8 months

What does putting clips at tip of dreads do?
It's just for show it's jewelry but for hair but it can also help pull down your locs if you dealing with shrinkage
