Joe is a fabulous attorney, one of the best in the country. He is beyond reproach, and all who know him can attest to his wit, charm, good humor and impeccable character. It was an absolute privilege to have been represented by him. The man portraying the judge on this trial, seated beside the witness/officer, is an actual judge who is now retired for about two years. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name though I was once before him for a charge that Joe ultimately had dismissed. He is also a wonderful man and is a great tennis player, having won the men's 50+ tennis tournament in his early 70's!
The lawyer is not confining the questios to leading questions. The witness is given chance to explain as in deposition questionings. The lawyer is no more in control of the cross examination exercise!
