Frozen 2 is finally here! And among all the epic scenes, new songs, and great adventures are a ton of hidden moments and Easter Eggs. Time to thaw these frozen treats out as we uncover hidden Disney references, a fun connection to the band Queen, and a great tie-in to Gravity Falls.
Despite taking place three years after the first Frozen, the film is still filled with plenty of flashbacks -- including the opening scenes where we see a young Anna and Elsa playing together. Instead of the standard toys, the little girls enjoy some time with snowman figurines. Watch to see what characters are hidden among the designs. One of Elsa’s big songs in Frozen 2 is “Into the Unknown”. The song helps set her off on her journey -- and provides us with plenty of lyrics to sing along with. In the movie -- the song is also filled with all kinds of great visuals -- including one hidden Mickey that appears in a blink and you miss it moment. While Frozen’s time setting prevents a lot of modern-day references, we do hear Anna use the word “epic” as a kid -- and there’s also a great reference to the band Queen. After struggling to propose to Anna, Kristoff decides to sing about his feelings in the song “Lost in the Woods”. Well, it turns out the song had all the vibes of a 80’s music video and one of the moments was a direct reference to the Queen song Bohemian Rhapsody. Watch to see all of these moments and so many others in Frozen 2!
Quick warning -- there are some major Frozen 2 spoilers ahead!

Yeah, I saw it while watching the movie
The cover image is a silhouette of Ariel sitting on her rock.
It was "some new Danish author". The reference was that The Little Mermaid and The Snow Queen both were written by H. C. Andersen, who was a dane, and Frozen is inspired by/based on The Snow Queen.

"HERE I STAND-" "Oh..."- Elsa

After seeing "Frozen II" for the first time I thought that it was good, really good even, but not quite up to the level of the original. After having seen it several times, however, I've changed my opinion. Now I think it's actually better than the original. We had to wait seven years, but they made it worth the wait!
My favourite moments from the movie are:
1. The scene where Elsa confronts the mystical horse and eventually gains its trust.
2. The whole " Show yourself " scene.
3. The scene where Elsa stops the sea from flooding Arendelle. That was a really epic moment.
Wow papa that was epic

@@Avery-xr3gk i cried while laughing from that. It was soo random lol
Hakan Geafer The next right thing scene is also an emotional moment
The movie was really good the sad part was when Olof disappears but at the end Olof comes back
I think her cringe reaction to herself was meant to be how we cringe at our younger selves (ex. when we see an old status on fb or an old pic of us) and not necessarily how let it go is repetitive
Mikaella Sambajon i thought the same thing! like she was cringing at herself trying to be alone. because this movie really showed that she loves and needs everyone she has!
I totally agree. It's pretty well known that many actors and singers don't like to watch footage of themselves because we sound different. Same concept. And we do tend to cringe at our younger selves.
Like I cringe when I see a video of my four year old self screaming let it go and YEETING my plastic crown across my yard?
Not only that, but Let It Go was a bit criticized for giving the wrong message, and the movie never corrected it directly. Let It Go was like, she finding "happiness" by being alone. If you're anxious, you might feel very relieved by being alone, but that's temporary. No one is happy by themselves, and Elsa never learns that she was wrong. In the 1st movie, the fact that she stays in Arendelle is more portrayed like "Oh, I can control my magic now, so I can stay", instead of realizing that the answer was to resolve her problems and find happiness and peace with her loved ones. I find that moment of her cringing to Let It Go REALLY important, and more than one joke, cause to me, it shows that she got the message that she was wrong and that people can't find happiness by themselves.
It's really important, cause Let It Go was this hit song for everyone and it gave the wrong message. I hope that with Elsa cringing at that moment, people think deeply about its trap.
I also think it was a nod to Idina Menzel because she cringes and apologizes when people mention Let It Go. Elsa's face looked exactly like Idina's in some interviews

@@pyromare4879 yeah that's r8 and also my question.
I had a theory about why Elsa was cringing at seeing herself sing Let It Go:
I think it may be that the animators DID want to reflect parents annoyance of the song, HOWEVER,
I think they also were showing that Elsa may not be embarrassed about the song in general, seeing that it was a happy and freeing moment for her. She was probably embarrassed about the hip-walk instead. (the one I will never be able to replicate no matter how hard I could try).
I know this isn't everyone's opinion, it was just a theory of mine. Good day, everyone! :D

I must say, the movie went to a length that Disney has avoided, and I love it for that. And that’s the villain being dead and thus, unable to interact with the heroes, but the good guys must defeat the villain’s legacy.
The whole Olaf scene was reminiscent of the Mr Stark I don't feel so good

Questions that still remain after Frozen 2 for me:
1. Who are Kristoff's parents
2. Why wasn't Elsa at Anna's coronation
3. Who are Anna and Elsa's grandparents from the tribe (Iduna's parents)?
Edit: ok, so many people have said it wasn't Anna's coronation. That makes sense since I can't imagine Elsa missing it. It just seemed so reminiscent of Elsa's coronation with the dress and hair style that I (and many people I've talked to) assumed it was the coronation.
Elsa wasn't at Anna's coronation cause she was In the enchanted forest
@@liv3650 Yes, but why didn't she come to her own sister's coronation? She doesn't have to stay in the forest all the time, does she?
i believe their grandparents are the old woman that we see a lot and the tribe leader that their grandpa killed
@@Tiara_Princess7 I don't think that is Anna's coronation actually. It is just the event where the statue gets revealed, that is all! The Queen Anna of Arendelle part was just like an introduction to the event :)

@@jos-josradvanji6203 then don't make the video! What's the point of making a "things you missed" if you WON'T SHOW THE THINGS WE MAY HAVE MISSED? Wait until you get the footage and then proceed.
@@arielvidriales people are a little too picky these days. never grateful for what they get and always want more instead. it's sad
@@jos-josradvanji6203 you're so wrong. I don't want more, I want what the video says it's about. It's a normal human response to want to check something "hidden" that's been told is in a clip. That's why all the other "things you may have missed" videos SHOW ACTUAL FOOTAGE.

Ronald Verdegaal omg you are right!!!!
I don't really think they needed one as much as it would have been nice. The whole point was that Elsa was trying to do her own thing but Anna kept holding her back/smothering her too much, so I think a duet song maybe wouldn't have fit...

Oml. I thought I was the only one.
The parents could still totally be alive. Her mom harnessed the wind before to save her future husband, and when Elsa makes sculptures of them in their "last moments" the water is coming around them, but nothing is touching them. Maybe their mother used the wind to create some kind of air bubble or pocket. And as the rule goes, if you didn't see them die on screen there is still a chance they live.
Lauren Clark I agree
nope the directors already confirmed that they died. also that would be totally impossible
Lauren Clark just let it go
No pun intended
I agree and also why would the spirit let them die when they rewarded her with Elsa
I feel a lot like that Elsa is crying while she's singing "show yourself" and "let it go"
I can _never_ get tired of Let It Go, I know it by heart. Also kind of another reference to Frozen 1 I noticed is when Kristoff makes Anna be quiet when there's wolves on the sleigh ride and in Frozen 2 when Anna and Olaf are on the boat Anna tells Olaf to shush
Remeber Olaf said: "Yeah she is a little pitchy" Me and my family were ROLLING i cant believe he said that about Elsa when his voice was:"AAAaaaaaAhaahahaAAAHAHHHH
I'm glad I'm not the only one who found Kristoffs song hilarious!!! The song is great, don't get me wrong, but the throwback vibe had me rolling!!!
literally my girlfriend just loves the song and finds it so sentimental and heartfelt, i’m just like- this is too much, it’s so funny!
That's the beauty of the song: it's hilarious, but it's also a good song in its own right!
I'm very sorry, I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings or cause trouble, BUUUTTTT... I don't know why, BUUUTTTT... and, again, I'm sorry, BUU- no, seriously. Idk why, but I HATE Lost In The Woods. IDK WHY! I feel really bad for not liking it, but whenever I see the movie (I've seen it, like 5 times) I just cringe at it so bad! I just find it embarrassing, tbh.
again, don't get me wrong, I know lots of people like it, I just DON'T LIKE IT!!
plz no hate, I'm just a simple person going about my day. (I'm 14 btw. or almost 14. I'll be 14 in 2 weeks. so I guess happy birthday to me... -_-)
I alway felt it supposed to be funny. I think it was Disney poking found at itself.
didn't like the song, don't get me wrong, it's still not good to me, but its the song that gets me, my opinion
One thing that I feel went over everyone's head (including mine the first time) was that there are 4 elements. All of which Elsa in one way or another tames, and there's a fifth spirit who bridges the gab between humans and nature/spirits. Who else does that sound like? Aang the avatar. Else is the Avatar!
I personally like the scene where Elsa's on the balcony minding her own business and she's clearly gotten the hang of her powers because she can touch the rail and it won't freeze over but as soon as she's startled by the servants interrupting her quiet moment, she gets 2 slightly larger than hand size spiky Ice chunks on the rail showing us she hasn't quite mastered it yet

Detail: the map at the ship is dated with Roman numbers, stating they sailed away on 1840
When Kristoff sings lost in the woods, my mom was like, "When did this turn into a RomCom?"
Yes, the five elements: Water, fire, earth, air, and annaelsa 😂
Air?
ice is the fifth element lol
Yes!
@ビンクス nope.. Elsa is the fifth element not ice... She's the spirit of water, fire, wind and air. Just like the horse which is the spirit of water.. Elsa is the spirit of all four..that's why when she was doing her transformation.. She stood in middle of all four element.. And then they combined together.
The 5th element is maaaaagic. I think. Or ice, like other people said.
Why is no one bringing up the fact that at the end of the movie, when Kristoff is dressed up, and says "this is only gonna last an hour" Anna responds with "that's okay, I prefer you in leather anyway"??? 😳😳😳
Natalie Vanwickler his normal clothing is made partly of leather lol
Kendall Johnston lol I can tell ya don't get the joke.🙃
Alexia 24 I don’t get it can u explain it?
@@hagridbanana it's supposed to be an adult joke for the parents who take their kids to this movie

when olaf says the best line of the movie about samantha, it wasn’t scripted but they left it in the movie anyway
Cinderella castle is actually only seen at Walt Disney World. Sleeping Beauty castle is found at most Disney parks, and Shanghai Disneyland uses a more modern version of Cinderella castle that takes hints from all different princess castles.
I hate how when it talked about the first hidden Mickey it didn’t let me see it or I’m just blind 😂
I couldn't see the Mickey shape below Elsa at that specific point of "Into The Unknown" either, all I see is something that resembles a snow crystal shape.
Didrick Namtvedt, yeah.
Emma Heart I didn’t see it either😂
Same
It's because at the same time that she makes the big snowflake design two smaller snowflake designs appear on the corners, but you can't tell because one of them is only on the edge of the screen by a teeny weeny little bit
My favorite parts:
Olaf’s speed recap
Samantha?
Olaf’s siren call
Elsa cringing at her music
Olaf saying that the voice is pitchy
Olaf’s fun facts
Into the Unknown
Elsa’s new dress
There is SO many more I can’t remember!!
my favorite part:
lost un the Woods
that was so hilariiiiiiioooious dude
When Olaf said "The things we do for love" is a reference to GOT
