    I feel there was nothing to 'fix', they intended to start spider-man as iron boy jr, there was no origin story for mcu spider-man, the homecoming trilogy itself is his origin. The real spider-man game starts from now 💯

      @@Adam_X78 that’s not really true either. The movies were great, people just don’t like how he’s a kid and, as he’s getting his feet off the ground, needs to rely on some other people. It’s a touch of realism that I like.
      People didn’t like him because he’s not like the other two Spider-Men. However, that was the point of the series. The movies were great and sent their own messages that eventually led to everything coming full circle. I don’t really understand how people can do strongly hate the first two Home movies when they strongly built up his character.

    There was nothing to really fix. Other people have been saying that, so I’ll say my own take.
    The previous two movies were great. People just don’t like how he’s a kid and, as he’s getting his feet off the ground, needs to rely on some other, more experienced, people sometimes. Considering he was in high school for the entire trilogy, it’s a small touch of realism that I like.
    People didn’t like him because he’s not like the other two Spider-Men. However, that was the point of the series. The movies were great and sent their own messages that eventually led to everything coming full circle. I don’t really understand how people can do strongly hate the first two Home movies when they strongly built up his character.
    The first movie taught him that he didn’t need the suit to be a hero; he didn’t need help to get back on his feet. The second taught him to be himself instead of trying to live up to the expectations set upon you. The third taught him what it means to have a heart and do what’s right. Together, this makes Spider-Man. It was a great origin trilogy and I think that people should really start seeing the great aspects of all three movies as a whole.

      @Parvis bro who is Steven 😭😭. Nah, all 3 home trilogy movies were good. Black panther was fine. I agree with you on Captain Marvel. Overall, it’s just opinion. But the majority of people are fine with the Home trilogy and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. So idk what to tell you bro, they’re pretty liked and enjoyable.

    Tom Holland's Spider-Man: steals Cap's shield and holds his own in a fight against him, beats Sam and Bucky in a 2 v 1, holds together a collapsing cruise ship, defeats Vulture in his pyjamas after abandoning his prom date to do the right thing, saves the Guardians and gets a few hits in on THANOS in the Titan fight, briefly resists the effects of the snap, holds the infinity gauntlet, takes down Mysterio and a room full of drones having been completely blinded using nothing but his spidersense
    Raimi fanboys: haha Iron boy jr

      I'll give you the Vulture one since it felt like an actual Spiderman moment. His Spiderman had a lot of potential, the issue isn't always how well on how he many battle he has won against real threats. They just seem to dislike this Spiderman because he treats the quote "With great comes great responsibility" almost like a joke. His motivation of being a hero is the most generic thing you expect from a normal superhero and that's sort of not what makes Spiderman, Spiderman. Tony Stark used to being there and give him as much as his tech support also shows a lack of independence aswell. After watching No Way Home. I have now fully seen his growth a lot bigger than the other two movies. Those were quite my only issues with Mcu Spiderman and glad they fixed it.

    • @mouldygrapes9500
      @mouldygrapes9500 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@chiakiwithagun9289 Yeah that's fair enough, although I disagree; I don't really mind Tony's involvement in his early days as he was younger in Civil War then Tobey and Andrew were when they got bitten and that was a few months in at least, plus it makes sense to connect everything in the wider universe, and I feel like Peter learned the independence lesson pretty well in FFH, but I understand why you'd disagree as he is still reliant on Strange and Happy a bit in NWH's first half. Glad you enjoyed the film though and I respect your opinion 👍

    So, so, so right. He finally acted a bit more mature after having been kept to act like a giddy little child despite having already died, faced an evil universe threatening lunatic, having led to the arrest of his crush's Dad. He finally felt like a presence in this universe instead of like so often before where they have so many characters look at MCU Peter like gum on their shoe instead of the respected and appreciated Amazing Spider-Man from the comics. He finally threw punches and felt capable instead of the usual 'um, sir, um' stuttering act they always have MCU Peter doing where he always comes across out of his depth despite comic Spider-Man being the guy to always step up and look the situation in the eye DESPITE always being out of his depth during most of the threats. He finally went back to no-one knowing he's Spider-Man instead of it getting to the point where literally everyone knows he's Spider-Man. He finally made his own suit instead of being Iron Boy Jr. He finally acknowledged in words that 'with great power, comes great responsibility'. Just awesome.

    Bro, did we watch the same movies? Both of their endings proved that Holland’s Peter Parker is Spidey, regardless of gadgets. Whether it be him escaping from the rubble with nothing but pure determination, or defeating an army of drones with his eyes closed. But no, let’s not look at the facts, let’s just call him Ironboy Jr. because you have a nostalgia-boner for a trilogy that come out over a decade ago. HiTop Jr. lookin ass
