Adding a Co2 scrubber to you Tunze 9001 skimmer.
Tip- Use a small pick to take out the silencer tube from skimmer.

I am thinking about doing this on my setup please let me know how often you go through the co2 media
Have not replaced yet! Given the size of the skimmer I’m thinking it should last quite awhile!🤔
How’s the PH doing with this upgrade still good? Also what is the level you keep the water in the chambers ?
Holding during the day at 8.2-8.3
I put the ato sensor about a inch from the top and that works well with the skimmer!

What was your current PH before the co2 scrubber and after? I just ordered the same co2 scrubber I’ve been fighting PH I seem to can get it over 7.8
Mine was 7.8 and got to up to 8.2 but no more than that. Kalkwasser also helps, I put it in the ATO
Hey the skimmer you have is this the Tunze 9001.001 DC Comline DOC Skimmer or the Comline DOC Protein Skimmer 9001?

Not sure dimensions but it’s just a basic airline tube from petco
@@whatthereef oh ok thank you so much for replying I just ordered my co2 scrubber and wanted to make sure I get the right tube as I want to increase my ph. Btw how is that going for you still good? Have you had to change out the media yet?
Mid 7 at night and around 8.03 during the day haven’t changed media yet!
