The music is the same as season 1 from "Adventures of Superman" I recognize a few character actors..... Peter Whitney, Ellen Corby and Percy Helton.

It was. This is a "sort of" pilot. There are 13 episodes of the series available to my knowledge. This is from '54; the series ran in '57.
