Good morning Bianca, or maybe it's good afternoon where you live. Thank you for watching and connecting. You're focus and insight is so appreciated. Dakota has some chronic pain points. He is very sweet, and I love working with him. I agree, sometimes there are multiple layers. This would be an animal with many layers. Dakota has such expressive eyes, it's not just his physical response that alters through the process, it's his expression. Wonderful! This channel only very recently popped up on my suggested feed. I have to say, I find these videos that capture Doug's fine work have been a real tonic. Legitimately relaxing and utterly wholesome, so thank you for sharing your work. Two great premieres tonight. I liked the slower, more relaxed pace sometimes, really getting to watch the horse respond to everything. And the talking directly to the horse, kind of draws the viewer in too. Sammy makes another background appearance, he’s gonna grab that bale & run one day!
Thanks Susan, it was a tough environment to work, but I think I got some good results that day. There was a huge amount of bugs! hahaha, and the ground was unlevel, too

Hi Calvin, So true about the bugs! I have been really enjoying the Boston Terrier videos! I've been telling my dog friends to check out your YT channel. Keep the great videos coming!!
I haven't been watching you that long. I'm glad that I found your channel. What amazes me is your ability to see how they react to their pain. The ears going back, their eyes blinking. Then once you found and corrected, their head drops, they chew and lick. I have this connection with my own animals. It never ceases to amaze me how similar all GOD'S creatures are. That was such a great video to watch . At the beginning when you started if he could have spoken he would have said " Yeah right there " ! He must have had great relief from that session. You are amazing .
camera is keeping the horses attention. I was at a graduation party that was entertaining the kids with very short pony rides throughout the yard. It was a beautiful little stallion. Several kids had taken a short , tethered stroll through the shade trees when all of the sudden the horse reared and threw a little boy. No harm done , he just kinda rolled off. It seems that one of the kids in the group was using a drone about 30 yards away and everyone watched the horse lock attention immediately. They are aware of everything around them. Everything!
Always so remarkable how so intuned you are with all animals. Very enjoyable to watch and see what is like a sigh of relief on the faces of those you help.
That was so relaxing, even *I* feel better! Such wonderful care to attention to detail on all of your patients. I really wish you were closer so I could bring my dog to you.

This poor horse had so many twitches, I felt really sorry for him. I like how gentle the Dr talked to the horse, and felt him all over to find these muscles knots. Whatever the Dr did must have helped the horse, because at the end he laid his head on the Drs shoulder. The horse knew the Dr helped him. nice to watch, when the horse fells better.
I am scared of horses bc I have had first hand experience with how powerful they are. When you walked behind the horse I almost threw my phone. I am so glad that the baby "knew" you were trying to help bc that could have been some power thrown your way. Learning the horse language is helping me be not so afraid and since i have to do horse therapy for my kids, I am going to go binge watch some more horse from you. Thank you. From the animals and myself.

It's always amazing to me how much pain horses can be in, but not outwardly manifest it unless it's so bad as to cause issues.
Yes, it's so true. As Prey animals, they will mask it to the end of the earth. I love horses. They are majestic souls.

@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen I'm a fan from Saudi Arabia and I agree I love horses they are majestic souls indeed. Love your work doctor 🤍
It wouldn't be helpful for an animal in the wild trying to survive to acknowledge all its pain while being chased by lions and etc
Is it just me or does the horse seem mildly surprised and a little confused as to how, all of a sudden, they don't hurt anymore??
