Thanks so much! Joined a led zep tribute band and I offered to learn this on the mandolin...granted, I do not know how to play a mando!! With lots of practice I hope to get it.
I'm a beginner and I can't figure out your A and E(5) chords. What frets are you playing on those two cords? Sorry for the basic question but when I play it, it just doesn't sound quite right.
The A Chord is a bar shape G (2) D (2) A (4) E (5) the E Chords also utilizes a bar G (4) D (2) A (2) E (4) I may have used an open A G (6) D (2) A (0) E (0). Hope this helps
This is as good as a lesson gets. Many many many thanks.

Very cool! thx for sharing
damn good player thanks
Nice !! Live, at least on the 1995 with just Page and Plant they did it in A . Does sound cool in Ab or just tuning the whole thing down.
Thank you.
Nice work Andrew. You certainly know your way around that neck.
@Cameron Fisher I'm comfortable with my sexuality....Question is, are you?

I liked this just for your hair
It be nice if you showed how to play those damn chords!
How do I do this in Ab? Thanks
Tunes the mandolin down a half step or it will need bar chords. Either way will sound great.
Andrew Hendryx thanks I’ll probably tune down. We do a lot of 90s so one of my guitars lives in half step now
A flat please!
