Always check gear in yard first before going out with it. Looks like resealing seams and putting a new coat of rain protectant will likely fix it. Gotta check for small holes too. Subscribed and will be looking forward to future endeavors! Great video!
Evening mate, to get use to the wind. Camp in ya back garden in bad weather. So you can get used to the sounds, wind, rain, snow. Lol all good fun. Tc Andy
Great vid. Happy new year!! Thanks for the vid, I’ve been looking at those Belgian tents. I was a bit worried about the condition and the seams etc. It looks like my intuition was right. I’m sure a good coat of Seam Sealer would work well. I do love the look of them though. Anyway, we’ll hopefully get to see the tent again soon once you’ve fixed the leaks. All the very best 👍👍
Thanks, yes with a bit of work I’ll get it sorted. They are a great tent and definitely up to 4 season camping, just a bit heavy. I have a plan to try using it without the inner at some point, so look out for that video. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
I had trouble with my tent leaking, i've re seam sealed the entire thing and it stood up well last time, but I'm not sure the sealer I bought was very good
I’ve only used nikwax and it’s been ok but everyone recommends fabsil gold, so that’s what I’ll try next, Not cheap stuff though. Need to replace all the seam tape on the inside too, that’s going to be a drawn out procedure I’m not looking forward to, but worth doing.
@@guerrillashadowman I wasn't sure about seam tape, so I seam sealed over and around the 'good' tape, ripped off all the stuff that was falling apart and seam taped there, never seam taped something myself I'm worried I'll melt my tent, I had a tear in mine too but there were patches included inside that I used to cover it
Like that video brave 2 do it on winter I'm running my season like this work a bit expedition work a bit expedition worked out d season 18 days worth of camping plus next year lookin 2 do an Ncfe level3 qualification in wood crafting qualification

Some seam seal and fabseal will waterproof the tent once more should cost no more than 50 pounds
