Tank Setup for Oracle Nightmare & Thanatos Brave / Royal Guard / Ragnarok Mobile SEA

- I don't have dedicated Tank gear, but thankfully my Sacri equips are good enough to get the job done... Here I share how I switch to tank build, specifically for use with Oracle Nightmare and Thanatos Brave 3F & 4F.
Note that there are better Tanking equips available for those who want to focus on that role. In the long run, I'm hoping to get my hands on a good tanking set too, but for now, I make use of what's available.
For Raids, the main thing task of a tank is to taunt and position the MVP properly, and to avoid getting 1-hit killed. As such increasing HP%, damage reduction & def/mdef are important.
I've also included in this video a short clip of me running Oracle Hard using Overbrand build (yeah it can be done, with good team mates... lol). - เกม

Do Fearless Rune "Enemy's AS" work on mvp/ thanatos boss ??
When tanking, I'd like to get every possible tanking skill.. so I'd like to think that it works but I haven't really tested it. Maybe someone who actually tested it can chime in.

Sacrifice is not nerfed... yet lol, the plan to nerf it was canceled a while back.

zell dincht Zeny price change all the time, I remember buying goibne set for a lot of zeny back then...lol now they are cheap. Best if you just check in exchange. The gear I use are not uber expensive that’s for sure

@king INT magic Deff, AGI for flee and active bonus deff from "Wind Armor" (Aesir Rune)
In addition, there's also resistance bonus per stat.

Rednas is watchers+sacred a better pick on tanking than godblessing/goibne set? I mean stonebuck+comet is better for pvp right?
@@AtlantisKING It depends on the role you want to play. Watcher set lets you be a tank that can support via healing and also do dmg via Earth Drive. Goibne lets you get crazy high HP, which helps in both offense and defense when using sacri build. Comet on the other hand has resistance to reduce the chance of stun / freeze etc, ideal in GVG/PVP. Each has their own advantages.
What's the rune priority for Thana and Ora? I only have 700+ gold medals atm :( Please help which runes I should prio~
Idunnイドゥン Taunt, HP%, BattleChant, Heal received are top priority, will add some more when I have access to my RG.
can you suggest alternative headgear for f2p players?
The headgear that you can buy using Thana coins has healing bonus. I’ve seen other tanks use it well.

Why are you activating the [Heal - Empower] runes when you even haven't allocated skill points in [Heal]?
I did use heal from time to time back when this video was made. But you are right - no need for heal empower runes if you're not using heal skill. Heal empower + heal + dying recovery is a good desperate move if you're hp gets too low - although no longer as useful these days.
Why not use God's Blessing ?
Jonathan Ngu, While Goibe set is still viable, the downside is - it needs to be a set to get the hp bonues.
@@RednasGG By itself at +10, it's a 22% max hp increase. With different equips like the sheep helm and deathcat cape, the loss of set effect isnt a downside at all.
@@jonathanngu9795 It is a downside when compared to other armors with stat resistances (Comet / Chosen) and buffs (Watcher). This is also the reason why Goib set is now cheap... Don't get me wrong I think it is still viable, especially if budget is limited and you really want high HP. But in my opinion, best go for Comet or Watcher if you're going full support tank.
Watcher is the best but... You are right the goibine may not be the best but yes it is still viable I speak from experience I already had LPA + 10 (Watcher) Goibine +10 (Gods Blessing). Goibine is still great.
DEF modifier from (Gods Blessing) now has 1.2DEF for enchent = LPA with 5 vit points higher.
EP 7.0 it is the best armor for Earth Drive and great armor for tank as well.

Yes, it has more Hp% bonus, Vit, and has good reduc vs Thanatos bosses.
