Leveling is a challenge unless you get a group 24/7 on demand and plebs throw money at you.

also he already did it in vanilla. Not defending it but still, also as someone that level a warrior mostly solo i can said if i were him I would love reviving the experience but now is his job so sadly no.
He’s lived through the vanilla experience when he was a nobody, so it’s not like he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Get a shield, put some talents into Protection (block chance, armor value), update your gear regularly (get mining / blacksmithing, helps to have a skinning / leatherworking alt), know your class, know your limits, fight in areas that are level-appropriate (at most a few levels beneath your own).
Learn to dungeon run solo a few instances that can give you some OK stuff (Shadowfang Keep for a few shinies which are still useful even if you're 10 levels too high for that instance).
Speaking as a private server Burning Crusade player, it's eminently doable and fun. Warriors are tough and resourceful, can endure much and output good damage when played and built properly.
@leosabat4636 I leveled solo as a prot warrior in vanilla until around lvl25,then I found a healer and we ran dungeons until 60.
Never had an issue finding a group.

Warriors are crap without a healer , especially when the warrior won’t get an add on that will alarm it when thorns are up .

Having played a tank in both retail and classic I can confirm classic tanking is more engaging. It is more simple with less abilities but actually having to lead your group, mark targets, and pull correctly is fulf illing as a tank.

@@avekatten3207no, no you can’t. I started playing retail WoW shortly after DF came out. I got to 70 within 3-4 weeks, but that was the end of the fun for me. I quit playing cause it would have taken me MONTHS to be able to do decent content like that. And don’t even get started on raiding… I was MONTHS from being able to raid. There is so much bullshit you have to do before you can even play the game. It turned me off so bad… to the point I quit playing WoW altogether for months. A couple weeks ago I started WOTLK classic and I regret wasting any time on retail getting to 70. To a NEW PLAYER, retail is an inferior version of the game. The community is engaging and willing to help at any time too. In retail everyone acted like I’m supposed to be born knowing how to play the game lmfao. Once I hit 70 in retail I looked up everything I’d have to before getting in even basic raids or any difficulty higher than normal dungeons and all the excitement I had left immediately. The barrier to entry in classic is much more welcoming. Another thing in retail that killed any excitement I had was just looking at the map and scrolling through the menus to see just how much SHIT is in the game. It’s way overwhelming for a new player. Classic is 100% where new players belong. & I’m not arguing this with someone who’s played the game since 2009, either.

I used to level up my weapons on my warrior in the deeprun tram killing rats.
We put the most effort in and it feels good when we get that new gear, weapon, or skill.
You actually feel like your doing something and the end game feels great when you start just destroying everything before you.
Im leveling a hunter and a warrior, spending the same amount of time on each. The hunter is now 30, the warrior is 24 XD

Well damn I wish this was here when I first joined wow back in TBC, first character I played was a warrior. Got to level 60, got the razor fen helm got the berserk stance, but I had to figure so much out and I was only a kid back then playing his first mmo.
Warriors are the only class I've been able to master. Or, at least wanted to master. I get bored on every other class. Warriors are the only aspect of the game that have kept it fun for me through and through.
I dont find lvling a warrior slow or miserable, more fun than anything. I keep first aid maxed with a stack or 2 and i have very little down time. Its not as fast as aoe classes or as safe as pet classes but its just fine otherwise. Maybe because i dont find speed in lvling a big issue so i dont notice or care? Idk
Bonus is you are always wanted in groups.

Have any1 else noticed that the during fighting challenge for the berzerker stance, demo shout works as fear? I used it alot and got to save alot of hp during the first easyer guys.

Lvling warrior was never a problem. I enjoyed a lot lvling all my warrior chars and when I got good weapon it got so much easier.
Why warriors are awesome: They are great cannonfodder for the other classes

A warrior shines with a pocket healer or support, that's why they die so often.
I always thought it was funny back in the day seeing all the warrior "solo" pvp videos where they had a pocket in every clip.
My 1st 2 characters where warriors problem with my first warrior is that he was a night elf.
They really need some better healing, even rogues have a ability that heals them. I use to love playing my warrior but in pvp eh not so much.
Rogue still better 1 vs 1 if he know how to play it right.. Only thing warriors have is overpower skill on a rogue if it crits.

Tanking being skilled? Secretly it's a lot easier than people think, lot of bosses you can just stand there spamming sunder armor.
If you didn't get WW axe early on solo you don't know pain.
How early, though? You can't get that weapon solo if you're too low.

Did wc for the first time ever on classic today "didnt play vanilla" and i gotta say it was freakin awesome. The mobs we had to fight to get there was cool and every time i went to loot it was exciting because the things they dropped could be extremely helpful. I walked out with a nice dagger and a few upgrades with stats that were actually good for me. Absolutley loved it classic is fun and blizz needs to make retail feel more rewarding and not so easy to do everything

I feel like if people are familiar enough with macros, they're far more versatile than people give them credit for. Two spell interrupts if timed right. Massive defense with shield switch, defensive stance and shield block if timed right. Two fear immune abilities abilities if spec'd right.
Not to even get into the stance dancing.
Nobody is making the arguement that they aren't awesome.

classic warriors are a product of Tom Chilton bias. He fought against allowing pallies to tank or DPS. To this day I have never rolled a warrior in protest.
The axe is more like lvl 36 though

Just play Classic -Streamer Edition-. It's by far the easiest way to level, no matter what class you choose.
I love how people still argue that warriors have it sooo hard to level, while most people are just spamming dungeon runs anyways ... even on release with the fresh to precious classic experience .... no one gives a fuck about, but im digressing. Dungeon groups always search for warriors and you can spam dungeons from 30 to 60 without a brain ... even before 30 you can do so ofcourse aswell

only limit to your dps will be your threat... Unless you get a bear tank, no one overaggro's them.
I dunno about that. There's a lot that warrior tanks can do about their threat with regards to gearing. If even gear isn't enough, you have threat specs. Nobody can compete with your threat in some encounters.

I played a Shaman and a Warrior almost exclusively throughout Vanilla. The re-spec costs for both classes are depressing to think about.

Warriors get hard-countered a lot in PvP. I'd sooner call them pathetic than awesome. I actually feel sad for PvPers who roll warrior; seeing them lose duels repeatedly is like seeing a fish flailing around on a boat trying to flop back into the ocean.
Shaman/Warrior together is amazing. Having a Shaman Purge with you as a Warrior is AMAZING.
Strangely enough the same can be said about the Paladin-Warrior duo leveling combo, it's so amazing with all the buffs, auras, stuns, heals, immunity to slows, the cleanse.

i am fucking tired of everyone saying warriors are hard to level. I had the best time leveling a warrior. And it wasn't hard for the most part. I was almost always the strongest in pvp, and tanking made it easy for me to gear up in dungeons and in elite quests. I can use the strongest armor (plate), every weapon and I don't depend on mana. Stop with this myth that warriors are bad for leveling.

@@liam3104 Warriors were only good in pvp when they were backed up with healers and had good gear... all ranged classes just kited and killed them and rogues just stunlocked them until death like the example above which ment warriors only really outperformed the hybrid classes which were the worst in vanilla :P... But if you had that BiS gear and a pocket healer you could easily ravage a group of people.

@@me56ize I quit retail like 4 months ago. And a tank can only do so much, If the damage dealers especially warriors do their full damage and get aggro it's their fault and not the tanks. So I'd say it's both, but the DD's have to watch out even more.
