- In this video, learn whether your house improvement falls under Permitted Development. Check out the rules for location, property type and property history. Understand how eligibility varies according to the type and age of your property. These preliminary checks are required before you even look at maximum roof height for your extension or permissible width of a dormer window etc.
The video starts by explaining permitted development and how it relates to planning permission, Lawful Development Certificate etc. Locations are then considered. For example, locations not allowed for Permitted Development include Article 2(3) land, also known as designated areas. Type of house allowed is considered, such as Class C3 dwellinghouses. Variations in eligibility vary according to whether the house is detached, semi-detached or terraced.

With Class E, for out buildings, PD defines the purpose as incidental to the enjoyment of the dwelling house. This also provides for domestic needs and enjoyment of the dwelling house, such as keeping pets, birds, bees and other wildlife. Would you agree that any outbuilding could NOT be used for the conduct of a home based business? For example, the harvesting and storage of Koi Carp for a commercial concern!

Hi Florin, I'm not sure what the problem is. In this video "Eligibility ..." the title of all 7 videos is listed in order at 0.08 minutes. The frame at this point shows that Eligibility is the first video. This list of titles is also shown at the beginning of all the other videos. Thanks for watching them.
@@efkor hi. Thank you for your answer. It’s not a problem, it’s just a suggestion, to include within the title of each video the actual sequence Part1 - Eligibility, then next video Part2 - …, and so on.
The exact sequence is not clear based on the name of the video. Yes the sequence can be found within the content of the videos but we then have to figure out, from your list of videos, which one is the next one and so on.
I hope this helps to clarify the suggestion.

@@Florin_Bolocan I understand your suggestion but it is not a sequence of 7 videos that you view from 1 to 7. For example, the person interested in side extensions only has to view 3 videos "Eligibilility","10 Conditions" and "Side Extensions". Putting number 1 to 7 would be misleading. Thanks anyway.
This is not wholly accurate. Valid PD is also applicable to flats and the right to rise.
