Thanks Martin, another great video from you. Interesting to see that freight car graffiti is ubiquitous...we have it everywhere in Australia! I am following this new series with great interest to see the new build... Cheers from Melbourne, Australia.
I like how you were able to integrate real locations in the track plan. You should consider the bump out to accommodate those real locations. You layout sides do not need to be straight along the aisles. The bump outs would make it more interesting.
¡Hola buenas tardes! I've been following your channel for quite a few years now and, very much looking forward to seeing the new layout develop. I took up the offer to join Model Railway Academy and, will be studying what they have to offer over the next few months. In the meantime, stay safe and well. Un saludo. Gary
Great ideas. You mentioned 3-D printing dockside cranes however, if it helps, Dapol in the UK produces a kit in OO of a crane similar to the ones shown in the photo of the docks (it can also be motorised).
cool idea to put the bird views on your plan. For the cranes you could use the Faller-131370, the similarity struck me. They sell for around 10-15 euros.
SInce I don't have time/Space/money for a layout at present what I do is watch videos on them on youtube and make notes of all the cool things I would like to have in future on a layout and then I have the file so that once I get the time/space/money to make one I can have the ability to hit the ground running.
Nice to see you planning your new tracks! Also good to make the cranes printed for 3D. But my question is: Can you also make some nice containers in 3D for the scrap yard? Especially the 20Ft and 40Ft! Thanks and good luck! Kind regards, Peter
Hi Peter! A 3D-model set for container terminals is in production. It includes 20, 40ft standard containers, as well extended special containers both US and EURO standard + a SVETRUCK container truck. Ot will all be ready well before I start detailing my re-cycling area
Hi Marklinofsweden hope this layout goes well. now i can finally follow a full layout agian. The anyrail Website doesnt work for me do you know some other Softwares for planning
interesting. Will your modeled time period be around the 1960s ? or are your coming back with a second video where you will cover the transports from the big oil harbour and the container harbour of today ? anyway great show!
Hi Henrik, yes I will aim at 60-70s. My garage is too small for modern container and oil refinery installations + there is a very strict photo prohibition in the Gothenburg harbor area, so it will not be possible to make the neccesary video there unfortunately
@@marklinofsweden well that is a good choice with the cranes and a much more alive harbour. I myself run trains in the late 1960s and have bought some cranes from a german netshop with the name kartonmodellshop. They have a smaller crane and a bigger ,46-Tonnen Hafenkran 1:87 Lasercut-Komplettsatz, at a very modes price in ho scale, I bought them in n scale and they look good. check them out ! good luck with your planning !
Forgive me to be a bit critical. I have enjoyed the tutorials a lot, learned quite a bit but that changes the last year or so. I understand you need to make a living out of it but its going to be more a commercial instead of tutorial
I can't wait to watch your progress with the new Layout! Have a nice day everyone
Needs more spårvagn! 😉Looking forward to watch the evolution of this plan into reality!

Looking forward for the next video! Hope you add some Swedish forest 🌳 in between the civil sites too.

The next layout seems very promising with all these industrial sceneries :)
Glad to see you back. I missed you.

Nice!
Love the locations! Exactly those kinds that I would have selected for my layout as well! 😀
😉
Very concise, Thanks....
Great ideas for planning the new layout. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Marklin of Sweden i have a question about signals of Sweden. Can you help me with this?
Greets Dirk from Belgium
Hi! I'm not Märklin of Sweden, but I'm a train driver in Sweden. What's your question about signals?
