    Stunning, gorgeous, meticulous. This is a top notch build, I’d bet an easy $200,000 to duplicate. All steel, real 1934 Ford. It is outstanding, even among the other amazing cars in our showroom. I get excited just thinking about this car!
    EXTERIOR: All steel body and fenders. The top is chopped 1 1/2 inches. The vinyl roof insert was braced and filled with ribbed metal. Suicide doors with shaved handles, they open by a modern keyless remote. Every square inch is laser straight. No rust, damage or body work showing. Outstanding House of Kolor Voodoo Violet. The paint is amazing, it looks like purple chrome. Polished like glass. It still features a rechromed grill with the greyhound ornament. It also has a chrome windshield frame and big headlamps. In back it has original style taillights and bumper, a flush mount 3rd brake light, recessed license plate and a billet gas cap. Custom made chrome strip runs the length of the body. Custom cut smoked glass. The staggered size polished Boyd Coddington wheels add to the car's amazing stance.
    INTERIOR: Clean, sophisticated design. It was Dyna matted. Soft Dove gray leather and suede like materials. Comfortable and adjustable front bucket seats. The back seat will seat 2 adults. The seat flips forward and that's where you will find the battery and tender. The side panels are upholstered to match the seats. It has custom made chrome trim that matches the exterior. Perforated suede headliner. Down on the floor is a premium tight loop carpet and mats. The dash is wrapped in leather and has a matching set of gauges. A console houses the stereo which is hooked up to multiple hidden speakers, amp and sub woofers are hidden under the back seat. Polished tilt column with a sharp looking steering wheel.
    ENGINE COMPARTMENT: GM crate SP350 motor makes 385 hp and 405 lbs of torque. Jim Inglese prepped Weber cross ram fuel injection on top, or should I say it's the cherry on top! Electronic ignition, wires are run neatly. It has coated headers. Vintage Air heat, a/c, defrost system. The front of the motor is decked out with polished components and a serpentine belt system. Custom radiator with dual electric fans.
    UNDERSIDE: Wow, underneath is nicer than most cars are on top! The floors are pristine metal painted a smooth gloss Violet. The frame is boxed, made smooth and painted like glass. Upfront is an all chrome Pete & Jake's suspension. Tubular 4 bar, transverse spring, drop axle and chrome shocks. Unique Billet steering box and electric power steering. In back is a TCI 4 bar suspension with, chrome trailing arms, swaybar and panhard bar. Aldan adjustable coil over gas shocks. Complete polished stainless exhaust with glasspack mufflers and flared tips. Disc brakes at all 4 wheels with billet calipers, braided hoses and the lines are hidden inside the frame. The fuel tank is painted glossy. It has a chrome filter, electric fuel pump with a billet bracket and the fuel lines run through the frame. Bottom of the motor is dressed in chrome, high torque starter. 700R-4 overdrive automatic has a chrome pan. An aluminum drive shaft connects to a smoothed Ford 9 inch rear from Quick Performance. Underneath this car is very detailed and uncluttered.
    This is an amazing car. It is one of those that will grab all the attention because of its stunning looks. I get great pleasure in just looking at the car. That's not what this one is all about, its a driver too. There are about 4,900 careful miles on it. It's a powerful, comfortable 4 passenger hot rod that will make you feel on top of the world!
    I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

    Why did Ford build these cars with a fabric top on the roof? Why not solid metal?

    • @donaldpiper9763
      @donaldpiper9763 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was cheaper. All manufacturers of that time period did the same .

    • @sanfranciscobay
      @sanfranciscobay ปีที่แล้ว

      @@donaldpiper9763 Was it a shortage of steel in that size or did they not have a machine to stamp roof size pieces?

      It was 1934 Ford was thinking about Cost, the country was in a depression.

    I think I would have used a Tan or Black rather than Gray Interior.

    They shoulda put a Ford Engine in a beautiful Ford Vehicle. A 5.0 coyote V8 from Ford would have been perfect with over 450 hp.
    Not a 350 Chevy 🙄

      Absolutely . so sick of these Chevy engines in a beautiful bodied car .

      I agree but I doubt it would fit.

    • @briansearles4473
      @briansearles4473 ปีที่แล้ว

      It sort of spoils the build. A 350 Chevy has to be the most common and cheapest choice of engine. What else in this car was "cheapened" by the bean counters? A modern built Flathead V8 would have been perfect in this car.

      I love those Chevy engines, 265, 283, 327, 350 but I to think ford engines in Ford cars! The Ford 289 is a good engine, for example.
