I have been researching for weeks, not knowing which doorbell to go with. As you were speaking and explaining each doorbell, I wrote down the Eufy and when you recommended as the overall best I was elated! Thank you for taking the time making this vid for people like me. I appreciate you!!
Hands down the best video doorbell comparison video I've seen yet! It's so comprehensive and goes over the most important features. I also loved how you showed the actual camera view and apps for each. Well done, thank you!!
Great video! I've been using the Aqara G4 for years now, and it has been fantastic with zero issues. The video quality is impressive, and the features are super reliable. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid digital video doorbell!
Helpful video. I’ve used Google, Ring, and Aqara. Of everything out there the Eufy you reviewed looks the best and apparently works quite well. I feel like something that matches both from and function is important to place in the front of your house.
Google Nest (wired) is my personal recommendation. The video quality and features of the Nest means the rest including Aqara doesn't even come close. Fun fact: with the Google Nest, i managed to capture a flasher that was going around my floor and he didn't even notice i had a smart doorbell. The video quality was so clear that the police managed to nab him in a few hours.
I'm committed to mainly Aqara products, so the G4 makes the most sense. Great to know how it compares to the competition though. Thanks for the great summary, Alex!

The color night vision might cause some disturbances with the said automatic lights 3) How many users can be connected to the doorbell? Thanks for the review Alex!

Hi Alex, thanks for another fabulous video! Which would you recommend for an outdoor weather exposed gate video door bell? Any of these door bell is IP65 or 67 rated?
Eufy features are nice but when it comes to IoT devices, the company's trustworthiness is the single most important factor above all else. Eufy and their deceptive data privacy practices from last year (as well as their multiple denials in PR statements until they got caught red-handed and publicized) automatically rules it out for me 100%, because their senior leadership is untrustworthy and doesn't deserve a place in my home.
Just a minor heads up, 4:14 has a mislabel on the voice call feature. The header is dual camera. Also I believe the Tapo does come with a quick call notification too
Thank you for doing this video. Really good stuff!! Especially your upfront disclaimer that you paid for all 10 models. Im currently using the eufy s220. But my biggest concern is the time lag it takes for me to be notificated when motion is detected or doorbell rang ~ 5 seconds is too long for my experiences with delivery people or anyone who presses the doorbell. Is there any brand or model which takes near instant or less than 3 secs for ring or notification? Or is the time lag dependant on broadband speed/ bandwidth? Doormat for me too! lol
network definitely play a part, but even if I am physically home, I don't think i will be able to respond so quickly, so i guess its fine for the person to go off if they are unable to wait 5-10s

0:24 I'm actually thinking of getting a digital door lock that has video feature as well. If you don't mind, could you explain more on why you think it's not a good idea?
from what i seen so far, they come with no features at all, it's simply just a door viewer embedded onto the door lock to consume battery power if you have a gate then the view is gonna be blocked anyway
@@AlexTeoWhat are your thoughts on the Philips EasyKey 702 Video Digital Door Lock or Philips Alpha VP assuming I don't have a gate to block the view of the camera on the lock? Both mods feature PIR human detection and instantly shoots a video.
2 important things you do not talk about: Many wifi networks are now 5G and many of these doorbells do not support 5G. Secondly, EUFY, apparently permits one to connect their wired version to the existing doorbell wire. How about the others?
i don't score whether a doorbell supports the 5Ghz band, I simply test on the respond time, that's more practical as for the 2nd point, refer to my list whether the doorbell supports both battery and wired
I just want to leave a comment here about my Eufy E340 doorbell. It SUCKS! It captures every car driving by despite setting up the Activity zones to exclude the street. It has missed virtually ALL package deliveries. It sometimes detects a package but never records the delivery driver approaching my house. Packages have only been detected maybe 20% of the time. The drivers are idiots and never ring the doorbell, they always put it in plain sight of all passersbys despite a large note telling them to put it to the side. I have NO IDEA why the doorbell cannot detect deliveries, only me and passing cars. It records EXACTLY what it shouldn't and is missing everything that it should record. Maybe the AI is dyslexic?? Now that the winter is here the lower angle of the sun is causing even more false events. Pretty big waste of money.
I have the aqara m3 hub I am conflicted if I want to buy the Google nest doorbell or just stick with aqara. Also I would like the give away por favor. Haha.

@@AlexTeo Thanks for taking time to leave yr comment.
Hi Alex, I am sick of Tapo D230Si, it keeps messing up. Sometimes it records and sometimes don't. I am looking at changing to Ezviz EP3X Pro. The cctvs in my house are Ezviz brand. What is the purpose of solar panel in this EP3X doorbell? To re-charge the battery?? Can buy spare battery for standby? Look forward to your comments.
@@Ann-ny9lr yes to recharge the battery so that you don't need to remove it to charge. The battery are not removable, you cannot buy a spare battery for it
Does eufy e340 work with HA?
nope for me, not sure whether anyone managed to get it work
Very interesting interview.
Does Eufy340 have a screw to screw to the bracket for security?? I dont want someone coming along with a paperclip and stealing it!!!
no diff, someone can come along with a screwdriver too
Thanks for the video. I am interested in winning the door mat!
Good luck!
congrats for winning the floor mat, please DM me on IG!
@@AlexTeo thank you! 😄

Is there other door bell for Tuya that's better then Mowe?
@@zhenghua2482 software will be the same, some have dual camera
0:24 I'm actually thinking of getting a digital door lock that has video feature as well. If you don't mind, could you explain more on why you think it's not a good idea?
from what i seen so far, they come with no features at all, it's simply just a door viewer embedded onto the door lock to consume battery power
if you have a gate then the view is gonna be blocked anyway
@@AlexTeoWhat are your thoughts on the Philips EasyKey 702 Video Digital Door Lock or Philips Alpha VP assuming I don't have a gate to block the view of the camera on the lock? Both mods feature PIR human detection and instantly shoots a video.
I'm a simple man
I see Alex's videos, I click upvote
cheers Doormat's pretty cool too and I'm interested to win it! :)
yeah i love simple man
Thanks for the video, it’s so informative! I’m interested to win the doormat! 😊
2 important things you do not talk about: Many wifi networks are now 5G and many of these doorbells do not support 5G. Secondly, EUFY, apparently permits one to connect their wired version to the existing doorbell wire. How about the others?
i don't score whether a doorbell supports the 5Ghz band, I simply test on the respond time, that's more practical
as for the 2nd point, refer to my list whether the doorbell supports both battery and wired
Is google nest worth it for apple user 😢
apple as in just iphone user or homekit?
I am interested in the door mat
been watching since your chair review vid, would be great if i could win the floormat, moving to uni dorm soon :)

Ring doorbell overrated, Eufy is amazing.
Pretty big waste of money.
thanks for sharing your experience!
Tapo now going for $68 weeee
@@TheRocketsciencee faster buy!
Hope I’m lucky to get the floor mat
good luck!
I would like a doormat. Anyway im using everything aqara so its all homekit friendly.
yup make sense
You didn't explain why we shouldn't get smart door locks with doorbell/cam function
because it's not a video about smart door locks
I have the aqara m3 hub I am conflicted if I want to buy the Google nest doorbell or just stick with aqara.
Also I would like the give away por favor. Haha.
if you are running on smart home on apple homekit then get aqara, overall google nest > aqara
