@@firsttimefeasts I just started with a side by side during the super bowl. It is a pain in the rear end to maintain and control but I havent seen a better smoke ring in my life. I'll admit my brisket was on the drier side but I got a 1/3rd of an inch smoke ring and, just like yours, only the point was moist. The flat didnt survive to make burnt ends though and I was told I was a liar saying it was my first so thats compliment enough.
This was just a little guy, it didn’t help that it smoked for 7 hours the went to the fridge overnight then oven in the am dried it out was to much. I have an offset smoker that I usually use but since I just fixed that pit boss I figured I’d give it a whirl. About to go buy an Oklahoma Joe offset here soon.
Once you wrap it the smoke doesnt really do anything.
💯 it just sucked that it broke again dam things been down almost the whole year. Just got it fixed :-/
