When removing hydraulic shores, you can reattach the hose and turn the pump can lever to release. This will allow the fluid to return into the canister, and decompress the system so it can be safely removed.
Never seen anyone use this type of shoring. Guess it would make sense if you couldn't install a trench box due to utility crossings. Curious that there's no backing board or sheeting to support the soil from caving in? What's the spacing requirements? Maybe this works with cohesive type A soils, no way in hell it works with type C.
