Thanks for the honest review! A little disappointed to see how Nike are making this series more rigid (and less “free”) over the years - I do like the Free Rn 5.0 though, and was excited for the new one 😢
Unfortunately sometimes good models are not that good anymore with just a few changes🥲😮💨

I have the non flyknit next nature and i think free rn 5.0 still the best of free rn series till today

It is the heel that I have a real problem with. All of the earlier models did not have this and I am less than thrilled with the extended heel on this model
Well it’s not a big difference to be honest, just a design👍🏻
the last 3 versions of this shoe have had the same heal-- free rn 2019, 2020, (2021 was skipped) and 2022
The heels on mine keep ripping!
@@thedabbinunicorn5432 exact same, whatever the neoprene stretcy material is, it always rips were it meets the heel of the sole. I really liked them other than that and was about to order another pair with a gift card I have, but now only this new model is available in my region :(
In my opinion this is the best. Omg the most comfortable dude I had. I bought all, and this for me is crazy, I have 2 of them, I love them
All versions were good for the time they were released, I love the most the 2021 release, lightweight comfy and very breathable, thats my favorite😍🔥
not a big fan of the flyknit series but this is a good running and allday shoe .Is it comfortable?
Yes its good for most of the day wear, very comfy& lightweight, all Free Run releases tend to be the same, good allrounder😅😬✌🏻

The light blue pair was bought around 6-7 years ago when my foot was quite skinny and since then I went up half a size, these have a wider front of shoe than those anyway, but true to size should fit you fine🤝
@@juliansreviews2206thank you so much for the reply! One more question if I may please. How is the sole height and drop compared with the free run v4? I had them and they were just perfect for gym and short runs. I like the minimalist feel that the v4 had.
i have the 5.0 and it's comfort is amazing (a few sizes up for wide feet) but the breathability ain't great for summer - you think these would be the same in those terms?
Yes, most of them have a strange upper mesh, they need to improve the toe box section at least😅

Damn, I really like the 5.0's but the neoprene heel keeps ripping after a few months, but with Nike's return policy I was just exchanging them. My current pair of 5.0's just got the same rip, but now only this new NN model is available on the Nike store in my region :(
I would say to avoid them😅😅 it’s getting ridiculous

@@juliansreviews2206 I still have an extra gift card they sent by mistake, so I'll probably try this new model once, but when they inevitably get damaged too, I'll just opt for a refund and find a better shoe from then on haha
Do you have issues with feet sliding forward? I am trying to lace it properly, I have the other laces not the normal ones in the video.

Out of all of your nike free runs. Which ones are most similar to the Nike Free Rn Distance 2? I want not only lightness, but durability to run 40 miles per week
The previous models were better in durability but a bit more heavy, the latest 3,4 models have that foam exposed which wears down faster, so I would say models from 2017,18,19 were the best ones for durability👍🏻✌🏻

Get them dirty and cleaned them and so on until they die… then next Free run👍🏻🤷🏻♂️😅😬

i have the nike free run 2017, but its beat up and i need a new shoe. i tried the 5.0 free run and didnt like the extended heel. it seems like this shoe has the exact same heel or is it not as pointed out at the heel as the 5.0?
would u say this and the 5.0 feel really similiar ? like the cushioning and fit etc

No, unless you want to twist your ankle, these are running shoes, you need something to cover at least a bit your ankle section, these are not it 100%
