Yesss to all of those confidence tips! I would also add that following creators who have the same body type as you is a really great way to see yourself represented on social media!!

This is a great comment. I find myself admiring people who don't have my body type and I really like this advice and plan to follow it.

I like how you're just having fun with the photos.
People pass by and judgde whether it adheres to the standards or not.
But there are ppl who are just doing it to have fun, not to be professional.
Can't we just try out new things and have fun just like when we were kids?
A person with inner strength and conviction doing their own thing is more respected than a person perfectly following the opinion of others.

You're a master of self photography. The editing skills are good too, keep up the nice work, Katie 👍

I love you. So helpful. It’s nice to see the behind the scenes videos. I’m glad that you show the things that don’t go perfectly well like getting stickers in your feet and having to shoot more than one photo to get it right. It lets me know that even the best professionals have to use most of their day getting everything shot, edited, and posted. ❤️

You posted this on my bday! I wanted to ask you, when I see accounts repost fun content from other much bigger accounts, is it helpful and must we do all the citing of the original account? Do you ever do this?

EXACTLY the video I needed right now! Thank you for the great advice (man that part about self confidence really hit too close to home... gotta work on that!). I'm thinking about starting to take my own self portraits for instagram but with an iphone (+ tripod). Is there a set up that you would recommend for seeing and taking the photo without having to run back and forth, similar to what you have, but obviously with my phone being set onto the tripod instead of being the "remote" if that makes sense? Maybe using a screen mirror app to another device that i would keep close to me? Do you know of specific apps for that use case? Thank you so much and keep up the good work! You're truly inspiring!

Appreciate all the great tips to getting confident! It can be awkward doing that out and about. I loved seeing this process because I get nervous about taking pictures on my own. Btw is there some kind of tornado behind you? I was kinda getting nervous 😅

Wonderful video! Gave me a lot of ideas and I also applaud you for your body positivity! Wish I had learned that when I was your age. I do have to laugh at the Texas “mountains”. I’m from the PNW and we have mountains lol.

haha well I'm from southern Ontario where we basically call a large hill a mountain 😂 so I'm just looking around like "woooow" all the time because I'm used to boring, flat farm land lol

WHAT extra weight, are you insane? If her “extra weight” is healt threatening then i give up. What is wrong with society? I mean, obviously havin a certain number of kg/pounds can affect your health, but how does she clasify in this?
