Wonderful pose. I did have to make some modifications since I am not quite flexible. But what a wonderful pose. My lower back/hip area aching from my long run yesterday and this pose helped relieved it. Feeling so much better. Thanks, Ester!
I can't say why without seeing you, but see can you adjust, go less deep, adjust the placement of feet/legs so it feels good and not painful anymore. Put a little effort into pulling your thighbone in the hip joint, while you do what you do, see if that makes a difference.
My right hip (mostly) is quite inflexible for some reason, and I can barely move my right foot/leg in between my arms the way you do it in the beginning of the video. What pose or exercise would you suggest to increase flexibility? Thank you.
Esther, I just found your channel and am loving it! I was looking for some hip openers and discovered you. I would really like to include this in my practice, but I am expecting. What could i replace the downward facing dog with that would be safe for pregnancy? Thanks so much!!
I have trouble touching my hand to the ground on the same side as the forward leg during the low dragon - because either I am too busty or just too fat. Any suggestions for a modification?

A bit late, but put your hand up on blocks, make the floor higher... all good, different body types need different adjustments
I'll be trying this tonight. Will you do doing any other Yin Yoga?
@Gorvena Tomorrow night I'll put up a long full yin class on my ekhartyoga youtube channel! Look out for it!

If only I had time to do this...So much studying for my exam tomorrow, so little time....But I liked it in advance, because I know it'll be good.

where is the Dragon Split?
Ekhart Yoga , why do you initiate breathing? In yin yoga you don't initiate breathing...
@dopeisnik have you tried it? i nearly died.

A pose to welcome in the Year of The Dragon. Lets hope The Dragon is friendly! :-)
