I battle anemia for one year January 2023 come January 2024 the doctor told me am healed my iron level is back to normal, had to get a blood transfusion in the room that day i was alone and fear set in, i was about to cry and then the spirit of God enter the room and say you gonna be alright lord thank you am not even worthy and you got me.

This song would not leave my spirit at the time I heard it on the radio but never meditated on the words. When we left the hospital and my daughter was doing very well, I got a chance to meditate on the words. When I listened to those words, I just cried!!! I really love this song. I remember going to church when I was younger and hearing the choir sing this song. I just had knee surgery again for the second time. The first time I had knee surgery it took me seven years to learn to walk again. I was scared that having this surgery would put me back in that same position. I listen to this song and it gives me the strength to get up and move around. I refuse to go back to being in a wheelchair again. For the past 5 years, I have been stalked, harassed and tormented by my ex husband. He's interrupted every area of my life, hacked into my emails, online accounts and listens to my phone calls. I left Georgia 3 years ago, moving to Ohio, thinking this would end the continued harassment, but it has only intensified his fury against me. He's blocked me from jobs, financial assistance needed while in nursing school and the list goes on........ I fell on my knees this morning and told the Lord, I have nothing left in me, I just want to give up. Then this song came to mind, "Hold on Old Soldier". Thank you Jesus!

I came home from work one day. I didn't have a good day do to the facted it was my grandmother's birthday, who passed a year ago. I didn't tell anyone what was wrong with me and that I was having a bad day. When I got home my husband had this video on and told me sit down and watch and listen to this. He made the kids sit down queit while I listen to it. All I remember was tears was coming down my face. Thank you Jesus for being there for me. I'm going to hold on has long as it takes. Thankful

This song is so Close to me because I’ve had to endure so much in the years before and even now and sometimes the tears are much more than I can stand but I know I’ve got to hold on. I lost my brother-in-law in 2021 I lost my mother in 2022 and I lost my sister in 2023. I know he is and he’s keeping me.
When I hear this song I can't help but think of my grandmother she is the only grandparent I have left! She's buried siblings, She lost a son (my uncle) and her husband (my grandfather) just passed away this year!! She has her moments but she says she's going on in Jesus name!!!! 🙏🏿✝️💯

This song got me through almost 18 years ago when I had just had my daughter. When she was born she had difficulties. This song would not leave my spirit at the time I heard it on the radio but never meditated on the words. When we left the hospital and my daughter was doing very well, I got a chance to meditate on the words. When I listened to those words, I just cried!!! Everytime I hear this song, tears come to my eyes. God is always there!!!

Yes I 'm holding on because I have nothing else. God is my rock and shield in him will I trust. I know God is going to turn things around. I have been tried for 3 years now I went through surgery a hysterectomy and the medication and I have had family and neighbors and friends pass on in the three years. It's been rough but I still keep pushing and I know God has something more beautiful than what I I am dealing with now . God is getting ready to turn my tears of sorrow in to joy happiness peace 🕊️ and love❤️😇🙌🏾

I really love this song. I remember going to church when I was younger and hearing the choir sing this song. I just had knee surgery again for the second time. The first time I had knee surgery it took me seven years to learn to walk again. I was scared that having this surgery would put me back in that same position. I listen to this song and it gives me the strength to get up and move around. I refuse to go back to being in a wheelchair again. I will end this by saying when nobody else has my back God has my back always. Everyone have a blessed day.
