In this video we head back over into sprint car country! This time we are going to race at a track that Chase has dreamed of racing at since he was just a child! The famous Kokomo Speedway! Chase showed some awesome speed and got up on the wheel, but things went “South” quickly after Chavus and Avery had a nasty run in with the track owner over a simple misunderstanding… Some people are just angry! Thank y’all for watching and supporting us!

The family has owned the track for about 20 years and as long as she wasn't putting her face into everything it was a nice place to go watch racing.
Over time, except for the big events, Kokomo attendance seems to have fallen off. And her attitude toward those that aren't part of her "local" cult is probably a big reason why. She's a bully and a drama queen and gets away with it.
We quit that place a few years ago and won't ever go back.
They are not locals to Kokomo
Her brother that is part owner is the same way. Happened to us back in 2021 and we are never going to go back there.

She better be glad Mama Squirrel wasn't there to stomp a mud hole in her tail. Also I like the new direction of the team. Racing smaller venues, meeting more fans, and becoming a better driver and team seems to be the growth that Holland Racing needs. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Not sure what her problem is, she's like that all the time, unless your a sprint car team, but we really enjoyed having you there. I was going to say come back for the klash but I wouldn't want to come back either, heck of a run and safe travels!
That is how tracks close down. She needs to get over her complex. Good choice in never going back, and I personally won't ever visit that track. You guys did an amazing job and great racing by the whole team.

Very few racers that have good equipment that aren’t locals will go there anyway due to the tendency of getting screwed one way or another if you beat the locals
Great run guys ! That lady will pull you guys up on here and watch how professional and respectful y’all are everywhere you go and if she is the owner and doesn’t want her track to be talked about in a negative way she will apologize publicly. I’ve never heard you say that you’ll never be back to a track before. It is sad because you obviously had a good time racing and it was a good race come on to North Carolina we got lots of tracks.

Love the videos guys (gals). I would love for you to make the trip to Ohio. Eldora speedway, owned by tony Stewart and Sharon Speedway in Hartford Ohio. Owned by the Blaney family. One of the oldest dirt tracks in the US. Both tracks have been on the. SRX tour. When u mentioned coming east coast, you definitely need to check both tracks out. I know Sharon follows UMP rules. What does being a southerner have to do wth it? Im a fan of Chase Holland Racing but thats a ridiculous statement. Maybe you should humble yourself and apologize. Sounds like your pride was hurt when you broke the rules and were called on it.
Some people think they can rule the world but can’t tie there own shoes just keep on doing what you been doing love watching you guys and it is sad but that’s the world we live I keep your head up and keep diggin😉😉🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Great comeback !! It was exciting to watch Chase shuck and dive for positions . I am a little disturbed to see an off duty officer was used as a pitbully . The escalation of a verbal incident by using a law enforcement officer is beyond reckless. Was he acting under the color of law when He ( got in your face )? This aggressive act on this officers behalf should be addressed. Is he a peace officer or just the track bully? Kokomo Karen does not need the encouragement this action gives to her!!!!
I had the same thoughts. Shouldn't be involved with track managements verbal bullying. Supervisor needs to have a discussion with the Officer and track management as to what should be expected during an off duty assignment. Looks bad on the agency management.

Man what a run! That was one heck of a drive up through the field. I think that would have been a win if there was a caution. Just let her keep running her mouth while your cashing your check! Haha...some people are just sour all the time. GREAT RACE! keep on keeping on.

It does state on the racetrack website that 4 wheelers are not allowed in the campground during race event. Golf carts are allowed. Either way, kindness makes the world go round. Sounds like the track personnel could use a dose of it towards their patrons.

I was rooting for you all night and haven't gone to a race track in three years. It was my fiance's first time ever going to a dirt track and I got to see you run. It made my night all night. Nick in the 21 and you looked like you where going to go door to door all night

We use to go run the Kokomo clash every year. Prolly the same lady. Did use wrong an when asked about it she got complete sideway.. we haven't been back since. That was 5 yrs ago..chase ur looking more comfortable an less stressed since leaving the tour.. keep it up guys hope u come run tri city speed way in auburn michigan next year..
Lawrenceburg Speedway in Indiana uses UMP rules... HIGH banked 3/8th... you should come up for the Merrill Downey memorial race
Sucks they ruined your experience. The wheeler rule is fairly common due to insurance demands as the spectators and bystanders in the parking lot are often not covered under the same inferred and agreed upon liability as those in the pits along with increased risk of property damage liability. We sign a waiver entering the pits and the fans do not. It’s kinda funny that your not used to running Sunday’s as up north where I’m from we race Thursdays, Friday’s,Saturday and Sundays. There’s also 7-8 tracks near us and obviously even more years ago. Sunday’s have always been a staple night of racing up north. Tracks run different nights as to not compete with each other and liquidate the ticket sales. Nothing like those 5:00 am morning shifts after racing until 2:30AM loading up and driving home. Quickly learn not to sleep.

Just come race an entire season between Pevely and Adams County Illinois speedway and you'll race against some killers and get plenty of experience.

They used us ump modified drivers to make that place grate and than kick us modified drivers out and only have a handful of mod races the owner is a joke an bulls ppl

It would be awsome if you came to West Virginia if you want to come east. I have two track here local that run two different days. We have Ohio Valley speedway in Lubeck, WV and we have Skyline Speedway in Guysville,OH. Both great track. Two completely different surfaces. Would be awsome to see you this way if your wanted to come east. Love watching the family and the racing.

That’s some wheeling a race car if only they had a caution to bunch y’all back up but of course when you want one they don’t have one and when you’re leading by half a straight away and don’t want a caution there’s 5 after that first one. That’s really a shame…I am from SE Indiana and race locally at Lawrenceburg Speedway. Typically racers and track owners/promoters around here are some of the nicest people you’ll come across. I’m really hoping she was just having a terrible day and I hate that you guys had to go through this. As a fellow UMP racer, I’m sorry!
Kokomo has more banking now than it did when I used to race. I kind of like the more flat Kokomo a little better. Although, Kokomo put on some of the best racing especially for the Sprint car side of it. But it's all good.

Jokeomo only cares about the sprint cars. The owners have a chip on their shoulders and they act like everyone is beneath them, especially non regulars. I'm only an hour away and don't go there unless the Latemodels are there. It's sad they treat people that way.

When some people own something that people attend, it can make them 10' tall and controlling and she sounds like one of those, it's the same as "the short man syndrome" short man buys the biggest car or motorcycle even though he can't touch the ground. Not sure about a Sunday but those are 2, really cool tracks. Side note: VMS is owned by the Sawyer family. The same folks who owned Richmond International Raceway. Beautiful, Class A facility .
