Super Cheap Hard Drive Enclosure

Just a little tip I learned to easiily open. Place the enclosure vertical betwween both palms and move slowly up or forward and it slides right off.

This is hard to slide open. If your thumbs and fingers do not work, try both palms of your hands and maybe hands against thighs for more leverage.

I found that if you pull back on the cover enough to insert the edge of a knife in there, you can work the cover off

if you drop the enclosure without hard disk no problem but if you have Hard Disk inside the enclosure, sure it will be problem

Xbox requires USB 3.0, which this enclosure supports. That said, not every hard drive is made equally, so if you opt for a mechanical drive you want to make sure it's 7200 RPM. If you're using a SSD you should be okay. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

Hi Eugene, this enclosure would definitely work with a PS4 since it is USB 3.0. You would see slightly better performance if you use a 7200 RPM hard drive, however you could use a 5400 RPM drive. i hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
